Here we are installing a ABB ACS-580 Variable Frequency Drive for a 25 horsepower submersible well pump. We mount the drive, land its wiring, and briefly go over its settings then do a few test runs. This particular application is about as simple as it gets for a drive install, essentially a soft starter, but with more monitoring, speed control, and motor protection.

Good job
I mean where's all the metal shavings, drill and bits laying around in the cabinet.
Is that a tool rep, and demonstration set-up? Has to be, that tool and whole work area is way to clean to be real job site lol.
The wiring is busch league, install some Panduit and clean it up so it looks professional.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Only on planet America.... So outdated... Here in Europe we order them already prepared for the job... No need to drill them... You guys doing stuff like it's the first time... Even though you guys were first.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Funny how the world turns...
What are the plugs you mentioned to keep the pipe round and avoid it being distorted? Could you share the brand/model number? I have heard of plugs being used to increase heat up time when pipe is in a hot box, haven’t heard it used to keep the pipe round through out the length. I believe Rackateers makes a spring you can insert into PVC to help create even bends without worry of pipe distortion.
Hi I'm pretty sure they are: Innerduct & Conduit Brand, Duct Plugs
Hi I'm pretty sure they are: Innerduct & Conduit Brand, Duct Plugs
I really don't see the advantage of having a KO set that's battery powered over a hand pump.
It's way faster and More compact.
Great video! Super informative nice to see real life issues!
Whimp. We did it by hand.
The smaller ones make doing crane wiring so much faster
Well by the time you drill the 1 once holes for the tool how much faster is it than the hole saw. None.
Way faster and much more accurate than a hole saw.
That's not stainless. On stain less you go about half way through back off rotate the cutter 45degrees then finish the cut. Stainless tends to tear out at the end of the cut for some reason.
It's powder coated stainless steel. Those are the stainless steel heads, With the four points.
That is used for thin materials, why is that screw so long?
Hey man, some folks just have longer screws than other brother.... It's okay to be a skeeter peeter
Has anyone ever wondered why the stud is so long? Come on its designed to cut through sheet metal, not a 2" thick steel plate
Yeah I'm not sure. Good question
Back in the days of vacuum tube radios this tool was known as a chassis punch.
Cool!
You got it.
I will never understand why the electrical industry doesnt downsize knockouts to the minimum needed for a fitting vs the sloppy a$$ sh!t of using a 7/8" hole for a 3/4" thread...and on up with the other sizes...especially with the suppliers making cheap fittings that have short threads or are 1/16" undersized
This would be sick followed by a 3 second “Bam! Bang! Fwack!” Super fast install cut, then zooming out from the same position but on the new panel.
Nice one! Satisfying
Great videos.
Thanks!
Thermoplastics are amazing
Sounds like my sex life
коронкой просверлить не?
мой переводчик говорит "коронкой не сверлить". я не знаю, что ты имеешь в виду
Заусенцы, куча стружки и все вкривь и вкось, а дыроколом намного аккуратнее выходит
Great Vid! I’d like to note, although those switches are rated against rain, the threaded plug they come with always seem to allow the switch to fill up with water! A common occurrence at large job sites where the switch may not be terminated for months after installation.
Exactly right!
Great work homie 🫵🏆
Reminds me of a doorswitch on a freezer door haha
Same same, but different.
Classsified location? Or just industrial?
Industrial. It's for potable water.
Will the 789 meter generate 12 volts on a 12 volt system, such as a vehicle or only good for the 24 volt systems?
It's built in power supply is only for sourcing 24vdc loop power for 0-24ma current circuits. It can also sink using an external power supply.

Awesome, thank you for sharing very informative!
Lucky bastards. LOL didn't have that crap when I was working. Got your crappy ratchet with it
🎉Nice job
It's actually a very good idea with all that sense of equipment.
Oh nice
It's a tank cutter. Knockouts are pre-pressed into the gland plate or enclosure for you to knock out at a later date, if required.
Ok.. now do double wall stainless
... everything reminds me of her...
Knockout sets really make these jobs easier
Hey you made an electric! That’s great! Btw nice footage with your cam holder!
Pov and ASMR breathing as a bonus 😂
What if u have no access to the bottom
Then you can't make holes and install conduit in whatever you're installing.
@@Up-CountryElectric this tool is only useful if I have access to the bottom or the other side other then that this tool is useless basically
@@bardortalib you'd need access to both sides of the panel to install the gland or conduit the hole is being made for
Greenlee has dies that clip on. No more spinning on
Да ну нахер.
Alot of yall dont like to add a little bit of lube to those threading
Здесь смазка не нужна
Wouldn't mind that for the bigger holes like that save so much time, smasll hole's I'll stick with a hole saw and a quick debur far quicker and cheaper, the small hydraulic system dies don't last that long before thay go blunt and you end up with nasty lumpy burs a pain to get rid of
Totally agree, 2", 3", and 4" are perfect any smaller and it's Time for carbide hole saws
Хотябы 3 раза обожми
хороший совет, в следующий раз попробую. 2 раза показалось достаточно.
Обжигай и сдавай на цветной металл
😊
I've used this tool some time ago😊. It works great. Nowadays i use the rittal perforex, much easier. But u have to know where all the holes will be in advance... It uses 3d software from eplan, also we have a wire terminal. The wire terminal is pretty new technology, since it literally makes the wiring for u. But! There is a bit more engineering involved, the schematics needs to be 100%. Otherwise some weird stuff will come out of the wire terminal😂.
Wow super device👍
The Milwaukee cordless one is great to!
