      UDS has options to support the path tracer, which the readme goes over. Make sure you enable Adjust for Path Tracer to configure the sky to be rendered as a path tracer background using the sky light capture.

      If you're trying to control exposure manually, make sure you disable UDS' auto exposure settings. The toggle for that is in its Exposure category.

      Dust is part of the weather state controlled by UDW. So you could use a weather override volume to apply dust weather to a region.

    could you point me towards some backgrounds of your landscape materal? I followed a few tutorials now and my landscape materials use entirely different nodes; so i am struggling to apply your awesome plugin here...

      The DLWE function just generally applies to any attributes routed through it, so it can work with any landscape material really.     This looks fantastic! Is there any way of masking out a certain part of the sky so that no clouds appear there? For example, the sky would be cloudy on the horizon, but not directly above the player.

      Yes, there's a utility included called the Volumetric Cloud Painter, which can paint coverage or mask coverage of the volumetric cloud layer.

    hello the wind system How can I assign it to vegetation? there is a description for it.

      It would depend on your foliage and what it's set up for. If it will respond to a wind directional source actor, you can select one of those on UDW to have it control its speed and direction. There's entries in the Material Effects section in the weather readme, about sampling UDW's wind in a material or using the included Foliage Wind Movement function.

    i can't get a lot of the weather effects to work in my 5.4 project.

      If you're updating from a 5.3 project, make sure you Add to Project again to get the current release of the asset which supports 5.4. Try using Remove Local Content on UDS before adding, to make sure the launcher downloads latest.

    I have this now, but I have a problem with the moon, I have a round cycle around the centre of it. is there a reason for this? running it on a new laptop using Unreal 5.4

      It's an engine bug I've seen in 5.4 with some of the film/tv/virtual production templates. An amount of the atmosphere color renders incorrectly in front of sky materials. You can fix for it by setting the Atmosphere Sun Disk Color Scale to black, on the Moon directional light component on UDS.

    Hello there ! is there a way to actually be able to SEE rain... while being in a night time environment ? Like drops are only appearing if I place dot lights face cam, so is there a way to make the drops more visible with a night overcast lighting ? thx

      In the current release, you could adjust Rain Ambient Light Intensity. That scales the amount of the sky ambient color they light with diffusely. If you're back in the UE4 version, the rain are just normal lit translucent materials, so it's just a result of the amount of actual sky lighting.

    Trying to move UDS files in the content browser to a different folder and no matter what I do I cannot get it to work after.(to be specific the volumetric clouds arent appearing, everything else seems to be working okay) I tried fixing redirects, and also didn't place any bps down until after the move. Tried advanced move and crashes the engine. Really not sure what to do. Would like to not have it in the initial "content" folder that all marketplace content goes to.

      The editor is very tempermental about moving entire asset structures like UDS. First, make sure everything is compiled and running in the UDS demo map. Then restart the editor and open an empty level (so no UDS assets are in use while you do the move). Then move the files and fix redirectors on content. Then restart the editor again and open the UDS demo map, letting it recompile as needed. But also, I really do recommend just keeping it in the default location, as it makes installing an updated version of UDS much much easier.

    Hey looks like my scene is bigger then the Dynamic Weather affected area...how can we scale ?

      There is no effective max size to the UDW area. It moves with the camera location infinitely. If particles are spawning in one spot, like the origin, and not moving with the camera, make sure you're updated to the current release of UDS, for the engine version you're using.

      You could use the surface weather effects material function on the material applied to your characters, sure.

    I don't know if anyone is having the same problem, but after I follow all the steps on the weather effect on the landscape, it goes well, but the displacement of the materials becomes crazy and stops working as intended. I have tried to look at everything and look at all the options and so far I haven't been able to fix it. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please help, thanks!

      In the UE5 version, the sand/dust material effects have all the same capabilities as the snow effects, yes. Including the interaction effects for objects leaving trails in the snow/dust.

      I don't know anything about that time system, but on UDS itself, all you need to do to set the time at runtime is set Time of Day, yes.

    ANyone suddenly unable to add the plug in to your files? I am using 5.3 and it has been working in there for a while, but suddenly I cannot add it to any of my versions of UE. I keep getting this error "this product requires supports version to be installed" but I have all the versions installed (except 5.4). Not sure what to do.

      UDS is a blueprint asset pack, not a plugin. You add to your project, you don't install it to the engine. If when adding to a 5.3 project it's showing an error like this, that would be a bug with the launcher. I'd recommend using "remove local content" on UDS to redownload, and if that doesn't work try reinstalling the launcher.

      @@everettgunther929 I used the wrong word, plug in or blueprint, it was not installing from the marketplace. I ended up having to restart my machine and unreal a few times. eventually it worked.

      Here in the UE4 version just snow and puddles. The UE5 version did add dust/sand weather, with dynamic dust/sand coverage which works the same as the snow. No specific options for mud, no.

    Hey Everett. I appliead this having a blend layer mask on my landscape with multiple materials. Everything works but only 1 Tile of my landscape doesnt receive any landscape paint anymore, just shows this checkerboard basic material. Any idea how to fix this?

      That would indicate that tile's instance is going past some limit for material compilation, with the DLWE effects added on top. It was probably just close to that limit already without DLWE. One common thing for landscapes is the number of texture samplers. Make sure all your tiled textures on your landscape mat use Shared Wrap mode for their texture samples.

      First, in case this is just an editor error with niagara compilation, try opening the Rain system in the Particles folder, and doing Full Rebuild, from the Compile dropdown. If that doesn't work, get in touch at the support email with more details. That's support@ultradynamicsky.com

    Hey, needed some help. For some reason the plugin works fine on my normal 5.3.2 version but when I migrate it over to my 5.3.2 built from source, it doesn't work and my editor crashes. Any help would be amazing 🙏 Edit: NVM ig. i believe I just needed to rebuild my source version but i'm unsure if that was truly the fix.

    I have always been a snob when it comes to plugins, 95% of them are unusable garbage imo but this one is dope. It always works, its modular, everything is exposed no "magic boxes", a ton of features, works 100% on its own and doesn't break anything, easy to use, looks great, runs great, and all of that for only 45 bucks. 10 out of 10 would buy again, in fact pretty much everyone I know has bought this plugin.
