I totally agree! I have a sour taste from the Nissan Brand, this was my first Nissan and not even thinking of buying another Nissan in the future. (This wasn't the only issue I faced with this car and the dealership).

I had the same issue, all I did was turn the car off, make sure the radio is off, and just spin the knob one direction fast about 60 turns (I just used my hand, got it done in less than 20 seconds) then spin it the other direction really quick. Works now, time will tell. I believe it's probably dust or particles and spinning it or using wd-40 rinses that out from the encoder I did not use wd-40, just spun the knob really fast

Thank you for your comment. Do you know the purpose of this diode in these PCBs? Are they for flyback current protection or reverse polarity protection?

@@arun.sekher I think it gives overcurrent protection, as far as I know. I just removed it and never replaced it, my AP is still working fine.

@@Southsidexz having the same problem of no start and it wont do it at the dealer. It Bricking. I don't wanna drive it let along puting wife and child in it.

@@onthespot42 Hey Paul, I had to insist to the dealership but ultimate they were able to fix it. It was a grounding issue. I can post a pic of the grounding wire they installed. You could see if that helps. Haven't had any further issues after that

Nope. After taking it about 3 times to the Dealership, they took about a week to figure it out, they even got Corporate involved, seems there was a grounding issue. Once they determined where and fixed it, it has been working without issue. Whenever you take your car to the dealer to get something fix, make sure to test everything.... even the simplest things like the hazard lights.... they forgot to reconnect the connector and had to take again to the dealership to get it fix. Horrible experience. Hope it helps

@@Southsidexzokay I see.i ask because I have a kicks that I bought a few out three weeks ago and I've already taken it in for some issues and they were fixed but now I'm considering filing a lemon claim . My concern is that if its giving me problems now it will be the same in the future.

The screen would shut down and not show anything . And the front sensor was replace because it was not functioning correctly and also some sensors in the back aswell. What do you think .

@@lucyblanco9378 That issue with the screen, is it just the screen or you also dont have power steering? It sounds it might be electrical too.

Yes. The engine starts and it runs but no power steering or digital gauge. You can also notice when it shows both the brake & start button, the brake dissappears because I stepped on it and then clicked the start button.
