Suafa'i - Samoan Banana Sago Dessert or Breakfast
In this video we teach you how to make the Samoan dish suafa'i which is a banana, sago and coconut cream dish that can be eaten as dessert or breakfast.
Ingredients we used in our recipe:
Approx 10 large very ripe bananas
1 cup raw sugar (plus 1-2 extra tablespoons depending on how sweet you like it)
1 cup of sago (or 1 and a half depending on how thick you like your suafa'i)
Enough water to cover the bananas
1 400ml can of thick coconut cream
We cooked our suafa'i in a saucepan that had a 5 litre capacity.
Feel free to adjust the recipe to suit the amount you are wanting to make, or to suit the size of saucepan you are using.

Building a Grindbox | Life With A-Family

In this video Maicah and Dad (Tema) work together to build what is called a Grindbox. Skaters and scooterers grind along the edge of the box for fun and try to perfect various tricks. We didn't close the sides in on our grindbox as this was a good way to save on the cost of materials, and it can still be used in the same way. A typical grindbox would be made mostly from wood and have one edge t...

Looks lovely but I think instead of using cornstarch why not try out the custard powder..much more attractive colour rather than pale uninviting off white fillings..just saying.
