Watching this video reminded me that a 205 Rallye, was the first car I ever drove! And that was the day my love for Hot Hatches started! I am glad you decided to do something with this car, looking to watching this project! Keep up the good work, the videos are great, love seeing all the different cars!

Good stuff! I’m sure he’s right about the P25. Having had a look at the pics it’s nothing close to a WRC S5. I’m sure you could do the 75% thing for about 25% of the cost.

Properly enjoying this channel. It's not loud, obnoxious, overly excitable people mucking about with cars. It's distinguished, well-spoken, sophisticated gentlemen mucking about with cars. It makes all the difference.

When I saw you on Jonny Smiths channel I thought, bet this bloke is into road rallying.... looking forward to watching this project!

The carburettor rule is a bit odd. So you couldnt do a road rally in a standard 205 rallye(euro) or AX Sport!

Forgot how good they sounded. Used to have a black L reg one, still probably my favourite car. Now have an AX sport. Fancied something similar to the 106 but with carbs. Prefer the handling of the 106 but the sport is still fun.

Bonjour! Salute! What a great little car! Had a few baguette’s in my youth! 205 Gti, AX GT……. I can still feel that lift off snap oversteer like it was yesterday. I recognise those roads too, Cross Foxes, Corris. The love of the hatch doesn’t go away does it…… must be an age thing, at 51 I’m getting that youthful feeling from a GR Yaris, nice to see your nod to that. Great videos your an easy watch 🤜🤛

I think you should rally a 106 Rallye. By the way, the GR Yaris is my absolute favourite car. A GR Yaris Rallye! Brilliant idea. Are you watching Mr Morizo?

Got a s1 Rallye myself as a restoration project. None sunroof model in white.. i need the standard airbox if you or anyone has one 👍🏻.. great car.. nice video, shame you didn't do a walk around the car itself..

I had a 106 rallye, M443 MOB (full magnex system k&n and cibie oscars) used to drive those roads regularly. Family had a caravan that way. Still some of the best roads I've driven. The run from Talyllyn lake down to Brycug is superb. Full use of both sides of the road, blind crests, it has it all. Its not quite the same in my van. Ill have to treat the clio rs next time i visit family 👌 Jonny Smith bought me here too

Why is the rear decsl on upside down! Blasphemy!!!! And the bonnet decal is in the wrong place Still got mine, in white but with a 16v turbo engine. The old s1 wiring became unreliable

Discovered the channel through tlbs with Jonny (loved what you did with the Kia) great videos I look forward to seeing more from your channel. Never owned a 106 though I have Saxo vtr’s but I have had 205 gti (1.6) 206 gti (quick little rocket) and a horrible 207cc. Always loved French hot hatches

I have a 2018 Focus RS which I also think will be a future classic. I do like the Fiesta ST too, but getting another car past the wife is a challenge!

Currently building a skoda felicia 1.3 from scratch to btrda rally first regs. Im enjoying the process (apart from the rust) but really on a budget. Hopefully il have it done for spring 🤞only things im getting new is the safety equipment otherwise iv got 2 donar cars broken up for parts.

Wish it eas a real 205 Rallye, but they're huge money and rare as hens teeth nowadays.

Awesome, love the car and channel content. My GF and I started road rallying two winters ago in the Highlands and love it. We use a 1981 Citroen Dyane and won a few! Great fun.

All wase willing to help sum how mate taken mine off the road for a while cost of living is killing me so frustrating to see it parked up only needs a starter and a back box
