Pugel Sticks: Whirl! Kill!
มุมมอง 8K17 ปีที่แล้ว
If you've ever wondered how you can exhaust yourself in 20 seconds or less, get in a pit and fight with these padded sticks.
CS Gas Chamber
มุมมอง 102K17 ปีที่แล้ว
If you've ever thought of doing something crazy, voluntary or involuntary, this is it. You want to push your body to its limits? Then jump into a gas chamber and breath the CS in like it is a clear summer day. At that moment you will feel like you are dying.
Shark Attack!
มุมมอง 217K17 ปีที่แล้ว
This is what discipline is all about. There's nothing like coming off of the cattle trucks and getting a Drill Sergeant in your face screaming: "Get MOOOVING PRIVATE!!! Get your shit and go!"
Mortar Attack
มุมมอง 21K18 ปีที่แล้ว
Video of a mortar attack on what it looks like a FOB in Afghanistan.
Combat Camera: 3 BN, 1st Marine Regiment
มุมมอง 43K18 ปีที่แล้ว
Combat Camera footage of Operation Al Fajr aka Phantom Fury from Combat Correspondant/USMC
Incompetent Terrorists
มุมมอง 34K18 ปีที่แล้ว
This video shows that terrorists are so incompetent sometimes that they celebrate failure to their God. This is my little twist on this video.

Larry Davie jr absolutely they can! I did almost exactly this, with the exception that I had a camel back instead of a canteen to drink from. We got issued canteens at CIF later.

For anyone who hasn't attended Infantry OSUT this is first 6 minutes of a very long 72 hours, and about a week of nothing but feeling the wrath of Drills and fuck fuck games making the walls sweat and rain, and then 14 weeks of hell. This is also the G rated camera friendly pickup day. I remember being a young 17 year old quite shocked at the creative vulgar words Drills could make up at the top of their head, it was quite hilarious sometimes to.

Can someone explain the point of the exercise at the end of the video where the recruits have to drain their canteens? Not trying to be a wiseass here, I really am curious.

To all the marines who came to this video just to talk shit on the army and airforce, both of those do more damage then the marines do. The army sees more combat and has longer deployments and are therefore more ready for battle than marines are (Atleast that's my opinion). The Airforce alone can handle most issues on its own so I don't get why marines are talking so much shit. The marines are so fucking small that if a war really broke out on the mainland and they needed boots, the gov would most likely call us (ARMY) to action before you. I don't know what it is with you marine cock stains but y'all need to chill. It's that cocky attitude that makes me never want you to have my 6😒✌🏾️ HOOAH. Army and proud.

Miles Williams Army did 15 month rotations and one year back in garrison between deployments, Marines do 6 month rotations, but they think they have it worse.

This was FOB Orgun-E as said below. I was there with 506th Infantry. Those WERE mortar rounds, not rockets. This was taken in summer of 2005 before we had the rest of the guard towers built. They're shooting this footage from the north side of the FOB. Over the mountain to the south where they're firing from, is Pakistan. When he talks about the ANA side, he's referring to the Afghan National Army compound that was shared with the SF.

Man I remember going through that and I hated it. I had to recite the company motto while the other few in my line all hit the deck from the gas. I made it through that but when they decided to hit us with it again while marching back to our FTX area I didn't get my gas mask on in time. I decided to say screw it and not even bother since it had already hit me.

  • @fartamplifer
    @fartamplifer 10 ปีที่แล้ว

I'm one of the people who genetically doesn't have any reaction to CS gas. my drill sergeant ripped my mask off and I winced for a bit then just stood there. then they got mad and made me do a bunch of silly exercises inside of the metal shed

did this today for our yearly check in the box training. it's a lot of fun, we had a competition to see who could last the longest. it's much better to experience out of boot camp.

I doubt if they were an OP as they were in a hummer hauling it looks like ammo cans? I know in Vietnam we always put OP's out 50 to 100 meters from the firebase and they were hidden.

Right, because you were in the trouble making crowd during your time in the military like all you military haters, only angry because you got caught doing something and got in trouble, the military is very uniformed coming from two of my buddies in the army one in the marines and me in the navy.

I didn't notice it was getting soft until we came back after our first deployment, on day zero I don't recall a whole lot of teaching going on, rather I remember being smoked the whole day, I swear I bout passed out within the first few minutes getting off the bus. lol basic will always be the hardest thing I've ever done in the army, but if you went in during the mid 90's I can only picture what it was like, I heard stories.

Plus FOB Orgun E, isnt up to standard with defense poisitions and weapons. This fob is very small and very fital to contol portions of the supply route in the Area. They need more troops there to put boots on ground and sling more lead.
