I’ve heard that scream when my youngest was in ICU with a fractured skull. It’s is a scream you will never forget and make you cry every time you are reminded of it. That scream I heard was 33 years ago and I am currently crying because I can still hear it in my head. I heard that scream from 3 sets of parents that night. None of those screams were from us. Our baby made it and is a very lovely lady in her 30’s.

Yes, not just with pediatric my sister in law at 26 has had breast cancer twice , she was just in the hospital for low hemoglobin needed two blood transfusions and the hospital called in a hematology oncologist but her oncologist looked at her chart and said “ no I’m not concerned about this being cancer” while I’m relieved to hear that you don’t think it’s cancer like leukemia I would like to know why, and further more I would like to know why she is suddenly so anemic she needs two blood transfusions go get stable, they didn’t run any further tests just said your anemic. When doctor’s don’t take the time to explain things to me it makes me feel like they think I’m not smart enough to understand the explication

I went to my California state assemblyman after getting the same runaround. Problem was resolved within a week. His website had a section dedicated to dealing with the EDD.

Is this a new thing? Back in the day women took maybe two+ weeks of maternity leave. It looks like you’re in scrubs with the stethoscope around your neck so you would probably have insurance that would pay for your hospital maternity bill. Who is it that you expect to pay you while you’re at home for 3 1/2 months? Is this a regular thing? Things sure have changed since the 80s.

Yeah same thing happened while trying to get an issue with my taxes fixed. Wouldn't even give me an option to hold. Took a year and a half to get thru and do something that could've been done in 5 mins online.
