I’m one of the few rare people that actually enjoyed my time with Wonderlands, and especially loved 3 despite its DEI infused story. The movie was absolute crap, but I’m still willing to give it another chance because Borderlands 4 looks like a great return to form. But if 4 tanks…I think that will be the death knell of the series

The writers "I Want to write a stand alone game that works if you have played no Zelda Previously" The dev team "hey lets make a sequel to BOTW, it sold well so BOTW two is bound to make us money right? The writers: "I want to write a stand alone game that works if you have played no Zelda game previously that is also a sequel that forgets its a sequel so we don't have to deal with any consequences from the first game and just pretend they didn't exist but this is still a sequel just we are writing it as if it isn't but the previous game will be mentioned by a few people". They took everything wrong with BOTW and then just gave it back to us again a 2nd time. People forget that botw can be finished in 5 minutes and the game is an open world game that doesn't continue after the final boss unlike most if not all open world games. We look back at BOTW and forget that to play the game, you have to choose to avoid doing the main quests. Just to do a sidequest that rewards a few rupees or maybe a weapon to replace the weapon you just broke.

The problem of the story for me was that Borderlands 2 and Borderlands the Presequel suggested something else. The Calypso Twins weren't what we were expecting when Borderlands 3 released. I mean what happened to the Watcher. Who was he. We had the opportunity to see Promethea and Athenus which were highlighted in the Borderlands 2 storylines but the "coming war" and the need to martial resources towards it doesn't equate with the Calypsos. The twins just didn't feel like the end of the world as we were being prepared for with the previous series. That is what lost me. That is one of the reasons the series jumped the shark.

While I will agree that some hard-to-get gear is crap, I think the Destiny 2 gear as you described would have a similar effect as the Trial of the Sword (DLC). The fully-powered Master Sword is difficult to get, but once you have it, the game quickly descends in difficulty since the sword is strong af and barely ever breaks. I guess the solution would be to find a good balance between these 2 situations.

Hot take but if you ever run out of weapons, you’re bad at the game. But since people continuously complain that they hoard strong weapons, I guess I can’t ignore this is the effect the game design has on new players specifically. Not sure how this issue could be remedied without getting rid of durability altogether, which I wouldn’t be a fan of.

I always fell asleep when playing Zelda Games. Never liked them, I guess it's just a personality preference, I rather play Doom or Skyrim... never felt engaged into what Zelda has to offer

I played Genshin for a while, but it was a little too addictive for me. I did enjoy the beautiful open world, side quests, the storyline etc. It's also totally doable if you're playing free. You can get items for wishing by doing quests, and save up for good characters. It's a pretty good system.

I had a blast until I beat the game and then after that I didn't know what to do so I just stopped playing. I don't hate the game but I definitely prefer Skyrim better and that's why it's my favorite personally

I couldn't get into either zelda game. I just prefer the older style of zelda. probably why the oracle games are my favorite zelda games.

Every bit as shallow as a Ubisoft game in terms of variety. Playing it on a PC via an emulator makes the motion pad parts near impossible. I had to use a cheat for the durability because that was complete bs. Made things more fun and took away the constant stress of breaking a weapon.

BOTW and TOTK!! These are the worst Zelda games ever made! No real dungeons, no cool boss fights and a master sword that has no power after 10 hits, come on, what the hell is this shit!!

There is at least the hope for a remake that fixes the problems of enemy variety, bosses, and unique rewards.

If Zelda ever becomes about building and equipping your character, I will be out. Nothing is less interesting to me. Dark Souls and Elder Scrolls look like torture to me.

"Navigated Bitches" was actually funny bc he just falls right on her out of the roof. The only thing from bl3 is ava getting Maya killed and the player not being in cutscenes

I keep saying that if they made Skyward Sword with better controls when it came out, with half the open world of BOTW, it would’ve been one of the best Zelda games. The dungeons in Skyward Sword were awesome. BOTW is so boring considering the amount of time you have to put into it, seems worthless. Skyward Sword had more variety in challenges and dungeons which appealed to me more. The only thing wrong with Skyward Sword to me was the lack of open world. I definitely wouldn’t have wanted it as big as BOTW, but it would’ve been almost perfect with more open world!

I’m tired of open world games, give me a linear game with amazing set pieces and story. Not some Minecraft sandbox wannabe

When I was finishing the divine beasts I googled whether the master sword was actually needed to finish the game. Google being stupid gave me an AI answer based on BOTW and Link to the Past. I spent half a day wandering trying to find another dungeon before I found the forgotten temple. It was in ruins. Run down. Hidden. I thought this is it. I finally found a real dungeon. Only to be attacked by 1000 guardians and to find a shrine at the end.......I wanted to throw the game across the room. 😐️😐️😐️😐️😐️😐️😐️😐️

This game is a 6/10 at best, and I'm being generous

I began to love the shrines personally. What I feel like causes the game to be overrated is there’s almost no story. It’s a really linear game with no twists, no suspense, and there was a huge lack of moments that really had me on the edge of my seat. There were only two moments-traveling through Hyrule Castle gauntlet to find one of your memories and going to the Master Sword. That was it. And the breaking weapons mechanic…totally ruined the game for me until I had enough hearts for it to no longer matter too much. Stretching 12 hours of content into an 8 hour game definitely describe BotW. The game is actually really short when you consider the only tasks you have is to free the divine beasts and beat Ganon. Still a great game, but not quite the barn burner it gets aggrandized for being. No post-game!! WTF!!

Absolutely fantastic series and I demand more! I really loved the mobile game reviews in all 3 videos since they were peak comedy

With BL3 and TTWL it is definitely on the decline, altough i wouldnt say its dying

For me the series died with the borderlands 2 fight for sanctuary dlc that came out before borderlands 3, it showed what the third game was gonna be like and when bl3 came out it was exatly the same as I thought, the fight for sanctuary dlc was rushed, it made no sence and it was a huge red flag for the next game, nobody seems to talk about it but that was the beggining of the end for the whole series.

Imagine my whiplash when I've only ever played 2, felt it was so dang good, waited years for 3 to go on sale, and ended up with that

It wasn’t that the humour was low brow. It was dark low brow humour that made it good. Jokes about suicide, claptracks shack in the starting zone had pictures of other claptrap’s in bikinis with oil stains on his bed, it was dark humour that gave it a more mature tone. The third games humour often ditched the dark humour side of the game and went all in on lowbrow sarcasm that was often cringey. The game needs to go back to more mature humour and away from the cringey “safe” humour.

I played BOTW, I finished BOTW, and I deleted BOTW to make room for Skyward Sword. I really hope Nintendo ports Twilight Princess for their next console to actually enjoy a great Zelda game.

I used playing Genshin Impact, because I was interested to play and liked playing, I quitted this game 1 year ago at 4.0, because I was out of mobile storage 😢

All these negative reviews are making me not want to continue this game at all. I honestly was kind of enjoying Totk(I have never played botw and since Totk was 40 bucks on Black Friday, I decided to get it) All the negativity towards the game just makes it not as fun, it’s probably just me that feels this way.

I'm praykng to get an episode on all of the fake pokemon game ads, it may be only on my side cuz i do watch many pokemon video, but this is always so funny cuz they litteraly say "pokemon" but can't put it in the title cuz it would be too easy to detect they dont have the right, those game usually dont stay more than 3 month up but somehow there is always somes up

Assault on dragon keep is so glazed, played it recently and it was just not fun from start to finish, the areas are a slog, there’s just way too many mobs in every room, near everything has a bulletproof shield or teleports and Tina is just insufferable throughout
