Thank you for your content. This is a viable way for sure, for people just starting out, who are not itemizing all the time, labor, electricity..... yet! Everyone is at a different stage with their love for woodworking, so for those negative comments, just keep pushing.

Never thought of this either. Combination of may business startup and single product drops getting mass attention/sales. Have you personally done this? If so what were the results. Could be a good video series to start to show how its done over a period of two months.

Very cool build. I will say it's interesting that people are buying those for $125+ a pop. They are worth it.. the quality of the wood, etc makes them much better than flimsy $40 or so crap you can buy. But still.. that's not "cheap". If I could make 5 or 6 of those a day 5 days a week and sell 25 or so a week.. that would be an amazing way to live. lol. Of course I'd build other things too.. but I do wonder how much shipping is, and how you box them up. The box to ship them in, the foam/padding/etc to put in the box so they arrive nice. How much does all that cost. I see Etsy is 6.5% transaction + 3% credit card (typical). Just curious what the profit is after materials, etsy fees and shipping/packaging? And how does one package these different wood projects? I am in to making subwoofers as well, those are heavy. I have to imagine shipping is like $50 to $150 depending on weight. If not more if shipped over seas. I subbed because I loved the ending with your wife "begging" so she can her nails done haha. That was pretty cool and your face after that. Loved it.

Nice project but your safety procedures are very lax. As a teacher on this platform, you need to bone up on table saw safety and then demonstrate those principles to your audience (some of whom don’t know any better). For example, where is your riving knife? If you don’t think you need it, you are very mistaken and you have on your hands an accident just waiting to happen. Another thing is that we woodworkers need to study up on when to use the fence, and when to use a miter gauge or a crosscut sled. Crosscutting a plank of wood by sliding the short end along the fence is a REALLY dangerous thing to do. It’s another recipe for disaster. I firmly believe that we who teach woodworking owe it to our viewers to demonstrate proper safety protocols. You might save somebody’s hand, and you might save your own. I realize this message has a bit of a scolding tone, as I’m writing it quickly, but I mean it as a helpful heads-up because newbies don’t know what they don’t know and I want them to be safe. It only takes a split second of carelessness or distraction to create a profoundly life-changing accident.

If you left out the drawers, it is still very nice pice of practical furniture. My wife woud put flowers on top and i csn stah my things under part.

Very nice but, it doesn't need a back and the divider does not need to go all the way back. This way less wood less money more profit.

Couldn’t you have flipped the box over before the hinges & top was put on? That way the top would be solid across the top. Just a thought.

One more quick question do you have to mortise the hinges in?

Looks great. I’ll definitely give it a go. Table saw and a planer thicknesses would help, but I’m going to try with 4 by 1 gravel boards, hand plane and glue up.
