The WORST customer service I’ve ever had
You guys just put it all out into the public- unlike the meeting between President Obama and the Dalai Lama back in the day where nothing was made availableto the public to learn from. Your'e benefitting the world more than our so called leaders of the world.
💕⚕️
Such an incredible story.
That's a cozy house. Very inviting. And excellent work how you compile these videos. I learn so much and it's enjoyable.
Monday or Tuesday,ci hope you read this
Tuesday 😊
Hej there everyone!
I don't think we should be ok, if someone is overly helpful, and a bit too much. If we don't speak up, they don't know, they just wanted to be helpful.
I totally get defensive too if someone wants to help though I try so hard to be independent. There is always good intention but it doesn't make it feel better. It's like I am scared of seen like a child, old person, someone who needs help, because I feel like they are reduced to that identity of being someone in need. A slippery slope.
I pretty much agree with Brit and the views expressed in the vid'. I find people often conclude burden through a misplaced understanding of how people are valued in society. The life of individual is sacrosanct in every sense, that is to say it has value, dignity and worth, irrespective of arbitrary considerations such as age, sex, sexuality, ethnicity, religious belief, developmental stage of life etc Sadly, there is an aggressive individualism which seems all too pervasive, certainly in Western society. I suspect the current push for "state-assisted suicide" is evidence of this.
interesting, I am not scared of tipping back. It would be fine and I can get myself up in my wheelchair (now). In rehabilition we fell often and we weren't scared anymore of it. And we learnt how to get back into the wheelchair.
I saw this live stream but then my kid needed some attention so I couldn't get some questions in. Next time! Greetings 💕
Depends on the person. Some disabled people take advantage of others. They use their disability to swindle people. As a paraplegic I am incredibly independent. Heck, there are times when people ask ME for help!
thanks for your response xx
would any of you two date someone in a wheelchair? I know many couples they are both disabled
Great question, I dated a girl with a SCI a few years back and we had so much in common, it was great. She wasn't in a wheelchair tho, she had issues walking, but would pass for able bodied to most people. It didn't last, but it was a wild romance
Have you ever considered a Medtronic intrathecal baclofen pump. I have one and it has helped my spasms so much and the nerve pain as well
I had an occupational therapist, who took it upon himself , to order me a light weight wheelchair, even though i said i didn't want it, and when i bent down to pick something up, it threw me and i broke both legs
So true, people look at a person with a disability, and undervalue capabilities, from my experience
So cool..
Here is another controversial opinion: drinking hard liquor helps prevent UTIs from all the ethanol secreted into the bladder. I went sober for a year and had 8 UTIs back to back. Before that I would have 1 every couple years. Now I am off the wagon, and no UTIs
I get on the toilet back to front and so rinsing off the glove with the flush stream is easy.
Back to front?! WTF 😂
I prefer to get dressed on my bed. It saves wear and tear on my pants when pulling them up in the chair.
Thanks for the great tips and advice!
Appreciate your video and honestly.
