Nice transcription! The whole thing should be shifted forward an eighth note (source: I'm a giant ass radiohead fan lol), but this is awesome.

I live in France and have seen Keith whenever I could; on his own and with his trio. I was too young and he played with Jan Garbarek or Dewey Redman. His discography is immense and blissfully overwhelming.

41mn without stopping at all! That's how great Keith Jarrett is, a real meditation on a piano... Love it when he gets up to the higher pitches out the blue: it's magnificent! Never boring. I really love the constant pull away from an A minor sensibility to Dm but then back to Am. Bordeaux - southern France - seems so appropriate, because I hear both French chanson and sad Spanish guitar. Lovely job!

WOnderful work! This maybe my favourite Jarrett solo ever simply because you hear how incredibly melodic he is.That can't be learned.His 'aural memory' (as Miles called it) is perfect. More than anything its a great lesson in how to build a solo.Isn't it interesting how he gradually plays higher and higher in register until the end when hes right at the top of the keyboard.

I've been checking Keith out since the 80's and cassette tapes, and this is new to me! Thanks SO much for posting this

The whole album should be transcribed--and hopefully as beautifully as you do it. There's a classical kind of perfection to his playing--and the conceptions on this album. Not a wasted note. And the hand-in glove feel with Gomez is beautiful to see written out, as well as the impressionistic drumming of Zigmond. So different than some of the seemingly wild and woolly later trio albums--that were incredible. Like a polished jewel. As always, thank you for your microscopic work.

I must say I "hear" Moonlight Sonata in the first part. But is this owed more to Brad or to Radiohead, who knows. And tons tons more of course besides.
