Thank you for your comments today. I appreciated your taking time to do this. I founded the NAU Harold M. Harter Memorial Handbell Choir in 1989 and directed this great group of students through 2000. It is still going very strong today. I will continue to support this great opportunity for Music Education majors to learn about handbells and how they can incredibly impact young students in music and, indeed, in their lives. Welcome to the NAU Family, and thank you for taking this opportunity to us to new heights!
Looking forward to great new achievements under your leadership. Hopefully we'll see you around a tailgate or theater production at some point down the line. Thanks!

Congrats from John Thrasher, class of 1970, Distinguished Alumni Award 1997. Director of Bands, Faculty Emeritus at GCC 29 years. NAU has excellent music teachers throughout Arizona and other States also. Best to the Lumberjacks.
I'm a bit jealous, actually. I was planning on volunteering in Stockholm, Sweden, but got entangled into a small housing mess. Luckily there will be a lot of time to help in the next few months.
