I love this car so much! Throw some bigger tires on it and it handles grass pretty decently!

I’ve only 3 arrmas . Kraton 6s v5 exb and a stock v5 with some chassis braces and pins and holders , front bumper rpm , rear skid might get a M2c skid plate chassi brace from the exb chassis . I don’t know if the exb chassis needs the M2c skid brace but yeah , prob leaving it and getting another . A 4s outcast with the center diff . The 2024 truck came perfecto needing nothing . Not even the M2c shock pistons but they’re awesome for the bounce imho . 90 wt and 6s backflips or fireteams tires on both for the kcrc ramp helps a lot imo . The duratrax warthogs work great for a k6s for landing as well but are heavier and wider . A whole tire wider co pared to a stack of 4 copperheads and backflips next to it . I think both versions of the backflips is really all that’s needed for the 4s outcast and 6 s kratons but the current sale at horizon had some great tire deals . Like $40 for 4 and 4 inserts and 4 tires for the copperhead rims was $11 ! 11 bucks for a set of copperhead 2 s but the tires were a pain to get off the rim and still will be needing g,using . A utility blade per tire will peel that rubber tight enough , I think people will slice their selves with utility blade of they’re not careful and have a nasty razor slice the way it has to come off . I would highly advise to cut away from the user and pay close attention to non cutting hand placement on every slice or peel . They were filed well and would not peel by hand . Long comment , just got fried 💨. Snow day 😊.

Debating installing some chassi braces on a kraton 6s or playing Destiny 1 ?

why did u not get the blx?

The reason it is designed to "bottom out" is that the chassis can easily absorb the impact over a large area front or rear. Putting stops in the shocks or on the suspension arms would result in unnecessary component breakage.

@ 4m 23s - The abuse is REAL!! 🤣 I installed a set of Injora 1.3" HEAVY brass wheels (around 80+ grams per wheel) with their new Cling-On tires. The combined weight of the w/t's are as much as the entire rig without w/t!! Anyway, mine took a big tumble on some hard lines and as it fell, the force of the heavy wheels jerked the rear axle and snapped the link mount. It's the weakest link of the V1 axles. This new axle is a brilliant solution, because they've added the additional link and shock mounts for strength, as well as a reinforced spine on top. All that PLUS reversable gears makes it a MUST HAVE.

The "black piece" @ 2m 40s is a removable spacer for the long screw that secures the upper links to the axle. You can remove it and use it on the new axle.

Hey man does the front axle of the rushmore have the axle tube gussets as well or is it only the rear axle? I would luke to upgrade front and rear to those for the gusseted look and to fix the torque twist. I have the cr18p evo rock van with the furitek micro komodo brushless and lizard pro esc. Just on the stock 2s 35c 600mah battery the thing drifts with 4wd and does wheelies and stoppies. I have a 3s battery and adapter on the way. I took off the front driveshaft for repair purposes and it just flies to the right on a launch and does a wheelie.

@CrawlerTrax plan on using it with the fam after im to hungover from stuffing my face with Thansgiving Dinner!

@CrawlerTrax It's too easy to break trucks in the cold. CrawlerTrax obstacles are a perfect challenge for indoor crawling. We often set up indoor courses with pillows from the couch. A Crawler Trax obstacle would make it so much better.

To much drag brake turned mine completely of with program card it came with hardly did any difference. second gear allways makes it flip over when you stop and if you raise the hight with the shocks the driveshafts fall out plus superglued shocks as the oil pops the bottom caps of the shock I paid £180 brushless way to expensive but not a bad climer
