must be low mileage? mine had leaking oil magnets, chain kit, PCV kit, intake air tube replaced., The interior is very breakable, center console lid always breaks, mine is replaced, sun visor covers also broke (and the passenger one :D), had to replace them, door lock actuator spring of back left door was broken, had to replace it, ac stepper motor flap was broken, had to replace it, turn signal didntworked properly, had to replaced it, mine is pre face- so had to replace instrument cluster display and fix its backlight (very common issue)... these thing are very common to break on w203 and probably you have low miles and that's why didn't encounter them already

Hey I need help with my w203 when I start it makes a funny noise but after two minutes the noise stop I think it's one of the pulleys
in my case was the alternator, so had to replace it - same symptoms, grinding noise for the first 1,2 seconds on cold start - every single time, found cool mechanic that properly diagnosed it - for 150 USD had my alternator rebuild and mounted back - brushes were very worn and the two bearings were bad

Hi. Great video thanks. How do u remove the egr flap and housing where egr fits. I m trying to remove the head and struggling to see whats at the back of the engine to remove. Thanks.
How many bolts hold the tensioner to engine? I took 1 long bolt from the bottom of the tensioner but tensioner is stuck, wont release. Mercedes C180
It’s only one bolt

@@darmbo the easy way to do it it’s to take the 4 bolts of the air con move it aside you will have abit of room to push it out that’s if you have undo the the long bolt already if you watch the video I show we’re this bolt is located there no bolts holding the tensioner in front of it it’s at the back of the engine

East just take your time it’s straight forward I took out the whole front timing case so I changed guides aswell didn’t have to link and de link chains then
What it would happen if you change only the seals

@@nemzrepairs In Trinidad which is a small English speaking island just north of Venezuelan in the Caribbean. Our cars are Right Hand Drive so some of the parts are incorrect out of the USA. Been check Ebay for the part but this one is not as straight forward as others. Now checking out your other videos. Just called my mechanic and told him about your video!!! Very useful.

Most problems are easy fixes or just let it be, like the srs. With little money you have a great car. I have c180 kompressor, same platform, it is the best car I ever driven.

Bro. I need your help. If you do have any insta or mail ID plz share. I recently purchased a C200 Kompressor here in India with 85k kms in it, poorly maintained for around 2200$. Facing some problems like idle Rpm dips, Car shaking and jerking especially in 1st start while engine is cold. Car refuse to accelerate when trying to floor it and some burbling noise from engine while accelerating in low rpm. Plz let me know what could be the potential cause of such problem. 😢 Edit: Oh another thing I forgot to mention that it also struggle to start and takes almost 2-3 secs to do the same after cranking.
Your best bet is to pull some code’s using a scanner then we can pin the problem if you don’t have one go to any garage the should be able to scan it for free or few pound
Should have fixed the V8 Benz..this is a breaker..
The funding for that v8 has been the issue I had to let it go it broke my heart going to waste due to luck of funds

Unfortunately, you forgot the most important typical W203 errors. The suspension has significant weaknesses, with the control arms often breaking, and the suspension doesn't last long either. If the car is constantly squeaking, which often happens, it's usually the so-called squeak bushings, also a control arm problem
Thank you for the video and caution us to be careful not to inadvertently break other stuff. The hardest part of this job is to the get the hose off the front part of the car. I struggled a bit and I can understand why one can put excessive force and knock something else off.
