great job i wish u the best❤❤❤
Jesus you’re tone deaf, the market is the market is a shitty way of looking at it. These houses and land are not worth a fraction if what they’re listed as.
I live here :D But some advice to people who don’t live here but want to visit, never come during the winter.
The democrats trashed wa
Cause you white people are trash
Thank you for this video, hoping to move to Seattle soon, I'm curious what extension are you using that lets you draw on Google Maps?
Imagine if they enforced the law in Seattle? *mind blown*
Democrat riff raff that have no problem ripping off stores, leaving a mess in the restroom and generally a high level of crime. We know who this is.
i live in stanwood
What do you mean you can't compare home prices to 1961? A house that cost 33K in 1961 that is worth 2.1 million today has experienced a 7% annual increase each year. That is about twice the annual inflation rate since 1961. I think that is a reasonable comparison to make. I thought Bryce was pretty quick to dismiss that comment away as coming from some out-of-touch senior.
Seattle has come a creepy place. It’s become almost intolerable. I know. I live here. It used be a decent place to live. Not anymore.
who the F*CK "enjoys" being homeless you insensitive POS!!!
My parents moved here in 1989 and loved it. I moved here in 2001. Luckily, I bought a place then. I could never afford my home now if I was just starting out. The schools are great, a lot of parks and open spaces. The downtown building of apartments and condos suck. Low crime compared to many other areas. Will retire in another year and probably move to eastern Washington. If you can afford a house here, I would recommend moving to Redmond.
I moved to Fort Worth 20 years ago, but I still dream of the majestic Stanwood/Camano Island area, where I grew up lol I miss it so much! I haven't seen a real tree since I moved to Texas lol
I’m hoping to find a room mate where I used to live.. the UW area.. I love that area.. it’s right by the train.. I only need the train and my bike.. my favorite coffee shop ever is there.. nice little hole in the wall that also serves Korean food.. and honestly.. some of the deeper more meaningful friendly relationships I’ve made were in Seattle..
They are never changing out the liberal system there.. keep dreaming.. go back to your hick town in the south..
Drugs, asshole employers, rude people are everywhere.. and while more expensive.. everywhere costs a fortune anymore.. the cost of living isn’t really a factor to keep me in Hicksvilles anymore.. might as well be somewhere I like.. and where people are like me..
I tell you why . I use to live in west seattle for 32 years. From the 80s on its been a toilet ,kids selling drugs ,more graffiti, more homelessness , crime etc ,it just worsened until now. Its a living hell, looks like a 3rd world country driving thriugh it.. the problem is these pussified councils etc letting criminals loose and restrictions on the police. They want people to paint over graffiti but do nothing about it themselves. Homelessness and drugs are out of control I have and idea jail them all. If they dont clean up or want to work. We're paying for it anyway
Honestly Lefrists crime and homeless yeah the trifecta of decay
You are annoying
You have such a weird look bro
Moved there in 1998 for school. It was fantastic. Was in Bitter Lake until 2019. When the hookers started pooping in the driveway I sold for a tidy profit and bought a farm far away. You can see my workplace at 13:38. Can't wait to leave permanently.
I love it here. Amazing place to live. Find a ton of confirmation bias when it comes to the vibes.
To expensive for what? Green hair freaks?
My sister left Kent.
I've lived in Seattle all my life. A beautiful but horrible nightmare it is.😂😂
Just found your channel. Pretty cool to read about all the different areas. I have lived here all my life, and have lived in about 4 of the suburbs you discussed here. Currently living in Duvall on 5 acres, and am just 5 mins away from "downtown duvall". Great place to live, my wife and I both work out of our house so no commuting. Not a lot of activities here but since we are right in between Monroe, Redmond and Woodinville, which are all 20 mins away max, we have plenty of things to do there such as movie theatres.
Please stay there . Nobody wants you to move and take you mentality with you. You made your bed now you should sleep in it
Bill Gates Former CEO of Microsoft
Full Name: William Henry Gates III
I lived in, partied in or had business over the years in all of these places and almost all of them have always been shitholes but now they are mostly overpopulated and as of late crime-ridden and definitely not worth the price point and everything that made these places remotely worth it has been destroyed .
About to graduate from college then go into the Air Force become a fire fighter and then move to Seattle and continue after my 4 years of service but hopefully by that time it all cools down.
Democratic policies and egotistical liberals equate to nobody wants to live here😂
Where are all these people moving to?
I move to Seattle in the early 90's and never felt the 'Freeze' or was even aware of it until a decade later reading about it online. Maybe the vast immigration program that is outnumbering Americans 10 to 1 with foreigners in Seattle and Bellevue since tech/internet has brought in scab workers of low standing no one wants to talk to.
Move to phoenix! It is so great here!
Redmond is a great town! Super expensive though and like most comments are saying, don’t move there unless you’re a professional in IT or computer science or some shit.
Hey Bryce. You skipped right over Mountlake Terrace. As you know, we abut Lynnwood, Edmonds, Shoreline neighborhoods. We don't have much in the way of new construction, except apartments. But you can have your own yard, a 25 mile per hour speed limit, excellent 911 service to your home in less then five minutes, and our OWN new transit center. During off peak traffic, 10 minutes to Everett, 15 minutes to down town Seattle, and twenty minutes to Bellevue. Lots of older homes with nice large yards for kids and gardens, green lawns for kids to play in. Nice and quiet, as we get just about zero airport noise beyond one Alaska air flight that comes over at about 11 o'clock on Wednesday morning. Peaceful, lots of folks out walking kids and pets. It's kinda like Mayberry without all the good fishing holes anymore. These alcoves of open arms to ALL people of ALL races do exist, and to make things even better, no one seems to feel the need to push their own politics onto everyone else, as there are about ZERO YARD SIGNS, ANYWHERE to be seen. Ahhhh.....
Bryce do you work with renters by any chance? Planning a move pending a job offer but would like to rent before looking at owning anything
Unfortunately not able to help directly with rentals, but happy to offer up any advice if you’d like to shoot me an email
@ thank you!
Work and live in Vancouver, Wa across the the Columbia river. Then do your shopping and playing in Portland. No state income tax in Wa and no sales tax in Portland.
My voice is more masculine than his.
You can't pay too much attention to all those 'negative' comments. As every major city in America has a group of people who 'hate living there' and 'can't wait to move'. No city is perfect and there will always be a group of people who focus on the negatives. This is just the way things are. And you can never satisfy the people who base their views on their political leanings. Because those people will never be happy, regardless. And they will exaggerate all kinds of things or just outright make things up. In order to make some kind of political point. So if you hate Seattle so much, just go ahead and move. No one is stopping you. This is the same thing I tell people who like to complain about America. If you don't like it here, then just pick up and move to some other country.
My issue is not cost of living. It's not that expensive. People are exaggerating. It's a total sausage fest over here. It's like 80 percent dudes. WTF!! You make all this money but not many girls 😢
Commuting by bus to downtown Seattle is about 35-40ish minutes. Driving, a big less depending on traffic. But never 10 minutes. Have lived here 20+ years.
I used to live on Alki Beach right behind the Starbucks. I loved living in West Seattle. It's a whole world away from Seattle and much more small town feel. If it wasn't for the fact that I work in the south end I would move back.
You forgot the best part about living around Alki, the view of the Olympics. Seattle's skyline is only impressive if you've never lived any other major city... but the Olympic range is America's Alps.
Good job 👍🏾
whine whine whine and yes, if it's too hot in the kitchen...and 10:05, Bryce, you've never been down and out...we...they...are not animals. a ton of us have been priced out of neighborhoods like Wallingford and Fremont. So I'm glad you are doing well but ppl living here for years since the 80s and 70s, we all need a place and keep drifting away from our city
People are leaving Monroe, because they want that high profit off their house. Houses have doubled or tripled in price in 4 years. They are building here all the time.
SOoo basically its CA with an Amazon factory now.
When I was a kid, the Kent Valley was farm land. Now it's a sea of Amazon warehouses.
