Sometimes all you need is good positioning and a bit of luck to win a game! A neat thing I realized about Obeka + Court of [Place] is that if you can get in for combat damage on the player who is the monarch, you can immediately get the upgraded upkeep triggers on Obeka's extra upkeeps!

What a fun idea for a deck! Im interested to see how it plays! There may be some more cards you can use to turn your non-sliver creatures into slivers like Arachnoform or Amorphous Axe. I dunno if it's worth including those or not, but might be worth considering.

Flaming Fist (and Duelist's Heritage) are so good for Voltron decks. The fact that they aren't tied to your commander is HUGE. I don't have to worry about an aura falling off or having to reattach an equipment if you kill my commander.

ngl boos, the audio makes this VERY hard to watch. You should look into the sensitivity of the noise gate you're using on your mic so parts of your words arent getting cut off. The echo is also less than ideal.

Im confused as to how you got 12 (two extra cards) cards on just turn 3, then magically getthe land and Isengard Unleashed on turn 4. I guess you can kill everyone turn 4 with her if you cheat!!!

The fact that Arabella basically sets your opponents' collective life total to 40 from 120 is HUGE! Its like you've got a damage tripler stapled to your commander. 😂

I was pulling for you with that Lich's Mirror. Felt like you had a shot with how low Jarvis was. One day, youll come back and win and it'll be glorious.

This is a perfectly reasonable (ish) way to win quick with approach, and other people have pointed out faster ones, but here's one without infinites requiring almost exactly perfect cards. Commander needs to be Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and anyone including white. We'll say yoshimaru because cute dog. You need 16 mana to approach, reprieve, approach, to get it we will do the following 1. Play Rograkh, Ancient Tomb/City of Traitors, Exile simian spirit guide from your hand to cast jeska's will with both modes. You'll have 7 red mana floating and after playing your initial 2 cards out of your 8 card hand, you'll have 9 cards available to you. 2. Play the following cards in roughly any order. Seething Song (-3+5 = 9), Lotus Petal (+1 = 10), Mox Diamond discarding any land/Chrome Mox imprinting any white card (+1 = 11), Mox Opal (+1 = 12), Mana Vault (-1+3 = 14), and Infernal Plunge, sacrificing Rograkh as the additional cost (-1+3=16). 3. Mox Diamond/Chrome Mox, Mox Opal, and Lotus Petal are your three white mana. Importantly you'll be missing one of the cards until after you Reprieve the first cast of Approach. So, for example, Lotus Petal would be on top of your library and you would draw it off of reprieve with 6 red mana floating to be able to cast approach again. Ancient Tomb, Land, Spirit Guide, Jeska's Will, Seething Song, Mox Diamond, Mox Opal, Mana Vault, Infernal Plunge, Approach of the Second Sun, Reprieve, Lotus Petal is 12 cards, 7 + draw step + 3 from jeska's will + 1 from reprieve is 12. If you uh, for some reason wanted to actually play this, you could either add blue for remand or green for elvish spirit guide/manamorphose. EDIT: Realizing how fucked up this is to read, will maybe reformat it later.

think I figured out a turn 1 win with approach of the Second Sun. Commander: Anyone what that is blue and white. Opening Hand (opening 7: Approach of the Second Sun, Dramatic Reversal, Reprieve, Isochron Scepter, Mox Opal, Sol Ring, Ancient Tomb. Turn 1 draw doesn't matter. 1. Play Mox Opal and Ancient Tomb. 2. Tap Ancient Tomb for two colorless. 3. Play Sol Ring, tleaving 1 colorless floating. 4. Tap Sol Ring to play Isochron Scepter, imprinting Dramatic Reversal, and still leaving 1 colorless floating. 5, Tap Mox Opal (you should have three artifacts (Isochron Scepter, Sol Ring and Mox Opal)) for 1 mana of any color. Use that manat and the 1 floating mana to tap Isochron Scepter, casting Dramatic Reversal, causing you to untap Sol Ring, Mox Opal and Isochron Scepter. 6. Tap Mox Opal for 1 white. Tap Sol Ring for 2 colorless. Use the 2 mana from sol ring to tap Isochron Scepter, casting Dramatic Reversal, causing you to untap Sol Ring, Mox Opal and Isochron Scepter, leaving you with 1 white floating. 7. Repeat step 6 until you have 16 white mana floating. 8, Cast Approach of the Second Sun, respond by casting Reprieve, causing it to return to your hand. The draw from Reprieve does not matter. 9. Cast Approach of the Second Sun again, winning the game.

You can respond to the first Approach of the Second Sun with Reprieve to bounce it to your hand and then recast it next turn to skip needing to draw through your deck. It doesn't check if the first one resolved, just if it was cast. Also since you only need 1 white mana for Approach (and a second if you use Reprieve), couldn't you use an ancient tomb for more mana instead of the first plains? It gives you mana more each turn and also allows you to play another 2 mana card on turn 1. Due to arcane signet it could even be a colored card.

This can be done turn 1 Mountain + rite of flame + sol ring + rograkh (commander) + jeska's will + treasonous ogre + chromatic orrery in that order leaves you with 16 mana assuming at least 1 player plays a land and passes Wedding ring + smothering tithes + approach of the second sun will be exiled with jeska's, 7 mana used to cast wedding ring and smothering tithes leaving 8 mana Jace's ingenuity draws 3 cards and makes us 3 treasures bringing us to 6 mana Windfall can now be played. each player draws 10 cards since the player with the wedding ring should have had 7 cards in hand at start of turn and 3 more from jace's ingenuity. we have 43 mana since the wedding player draws another 10 cards cast approach of the second sun, case file auditor (cheers @SteelCityBrad), cycle akroma's blessing then recast approach of the second sun commander rograkh + ishai, (red white blue) starting hand: mountain, rite of flame, sol ring, jeska's will, treasonous ogre, chromatic orrery, Jace's ingenuity Top deck: Wedding ring, Smothering tithes, Approach of the second sun, Windfall, akroma's blessing

There might be a world where you could use something like Case File Auditor or Lupinflower Village just put six cards from the top of your library on the bottom, leaving Approach on top. Not sure if that can shave a turn off or not, but it could be helpful.

This is the kind of EDH content we need more of.

Let me add "ruin ghost" and a single Plain: You'll have a secure landfall trigger each and every turn :D for free! (because the Plain re-enters untapped .... usually! Unless you are trying to recycle "Idyllic Grange" ability to put +1/+1 counters or "Mistveil Plains" with an "Amulet of Vigor" already on the battlefield, or "Sejiri Steppe" to provide protection to someone) EDIT: you can recour ANY lands re-entering! Not just Plains! Just think about flickering "bounce lands" with a "Retreate to Coralhelm", a Plain and a "Murata Rootgrazer"! Infinite triggers :D

Pretty good list. Wish there was more stuff I could put in red. 😭

One I really like is Dreamtide Whale. I mean, in the deck I run it in, the proliferation is just a bonus… but if you (or an opponent) is playing anything low to the ground, it’s pretty sick. Even if you’re not very counter-focused, a 7/5 flier for 3 is nothing to sneeze at. I like sneaking it in under a manifest.

Aetherflux Reservoir is a TERRIFYING card. If it sticks around for too long, it's hard to overcome. It's also really cool how consistent your gates deck is. You've got a pretty good list there, friend.

what about Distinguished Conjurer rather than the GREEN "Essence Warden" at 1:30? Also, we can't forget: -) Vona, Butcher of Magan: let's weaponize the life you gained! -) Rodolf Duskbringer : reanimates, gains life and puts pressure by attacking b .. a swiss knife! -) lastly, a synergy: "Serra Avatar" or "Soul of Eternity" + "Surestrike Trident" + some way of giving Lifelink -> myltiplies your life!
