I think Chaos Island could've easily been replaced with Digital Circuit, Cryptic Castle or Lava Shelter. But they probably decided to prioritize other games since Black Doom is already the main villain. Either that or make it so all Radical Highway sections before the final level happen in different Shadow the Hedgehog levels.

you've probs already heard about this but one of the main reasons why the Xbox 360 version is considered better by people playing Unleashed is due to the fact that the original 360 version was Capped at 30fps meaning that it never tried going for more, so in areas where the game could run at 30 it ran smoother than on the ps3 version which always tried to go for more, meaning it almost always chugs instead of just playing smoothly at certain points.

I feel the pain, but I decided to build a new and better Pc for a thousand bucks just so I could experience this monster in stable 60 fps, and judging by the demo it seems to hopefully work XD. I sometimes even get 100 fps despite my 60 fps frame cap so there are definetly still some problems there lol. The specs they expect ppl to have are insane

Honestly, after the first crash, setting the game on Low made the game run *and look* better than it was on high/ultra. It felt like the higher the settings the uglier and slower the game got, so I set the settings on Low and just upped the texture and mesh settings to max.

Optimizing a game purely around frame generation is a questionable move at best... might have to buy the console copy for this one if they don't fix it within the 4 months left.

I love monster hunter and it’s one of the few franchises I have real faith in but my god day 1 better have the best performance patch I’ve ever seen. I heard it’s issues with the engine born from it being meant for linear games like dmc and not massive games like this. All the same I don’t want silly putty mountains with massive requirements.
