Also, I meant to say that yesterday was the anniversary of the Beatles coming to America. Not today, haha.

"Back Home"-An Original Song by Katie Lownsdale (Lyric Video)
มุมมอง 1.3Kปีที่แล้ว
This is a song I wrote/recorded about a year and a half ago. There are some parts where the guitar sounds a bit scratchy (it drops out in one measure as well), and I'm sorry about that I just didn't have (nor do I presently have) a microphone to fix that. And I was again rather shy about singing, so if it's cringey I apologize for that, too, haha. I've learned a lot since the time when I record...
The Rest of My Record Collection (Elvis, Soundtracks, Classical, and More!)
มุมมอง 1.8Kปีที่แล้ว
Today I’m going to show you guys the records in my collection that aren’t Beatles or Paul McCartney related. It’s a pretty random selection, but I hope you’ll enjoy anyway! :-)

Hey Katie, I own the last book you showed in the video and absolutely love it. Do you know if there is rest of the sherlock holmes collection out there in that exact theme and illustrations and yellow pages and all?
@@harrykhattra7489 Hi, thank you so much! I am unfortunately unaware if there is a collection of them, though I’d really hope there was! Being that it’s a Barnes and Noble edition I would guess there isn’t one, but I could always be wrong.
Again a very beautiful voice

Greetings from London , I watched your first video showing what Beatles Album’s you have & what Album got you hooked on the Beatles , Beatles 1 , now my cousin was project coordinator on that Album , his name is on the back of the Album , look for Alan rouse . I’m now watching your second video on Paul McCartney Albums & singles , anyway I hope your Beatles collection grows & Grows & also applies to your Paul McCartney collection . 👍
Thanks so much, I really appreciate that! :-) I will definitely look for your cousin's name on the back because that is too cool! Thanks for sharing!
@ he has also worked with Paul McCartney on a number of Paul’s Albums . I was lucky enough to meet Paul at George’s memorial concert at the royal Albert hall In London a few years ago , you probably guessed my cousin has a connection with the music business , well he works at Abbey road Studios . I have been there on a number of occasions, and its hard to take in you’re in studio 2 where the Beatles made all there studio Albums , you can just feel the Beatles are there with you
@ Oh my gosh, that is so cool! I can only imagine how amazing such experiences like yours would be! I’ve seen Paul once in concert and that was incredible, so I can bet meeting him would be otherworldly! :-D
Home Tonight and In a Hurry is a great single. Those are both excellent. You've got a great collection. I love all that stuff. Nice video
@@jim-y8h6u Thanks so much, I really appreciate it! :-)
Wow! Supercool! You have some British and some American releases. You even have "The Beatles Tell All" - the last Vee Jay Records release. Hal Blaine plays the drums to add excitement. I've heard of the Baroque Beatle Book, but I've never actually heard it. Great collection! I guess I'm a little late getting here, but I'd love to see your Paul McCartney collection
You were great! The white album was my initial fav, but now i think it's Abbey Road. I lean toward John but love them all. The later era is my fav. A hard days night is my fav movie. Just discovered your channel and love it. I also love the Bible reference, but i think it was Moses who argued he couldnt speak. He could have and you are great, keep going!

I enjoyed your video - good job! I love the Beatles at the BBC. To me, the talking between songs is as much fun as the songs themselves. 😃 My favorite track off of Love is the baroque flavored While My Guitar Gently Weeps. If you like Paul’s Wings and solo work I would recommend the recently released One Hand Clapping.
@@williamhenderson8371Thank you so much! I’m glad you did! 😊 Haha, I agree-the talking between is definitely as much fun as the music! :-) Your favorites are wonderful, too, by the way. Thanks for sharing!

My fav tracks off the Love cd is Octopus’s Garden, just love the way it starts out and Hey Jude on the way it ends at the 2:50 mark, the cd is an amazing mix. I would recommend The Beatles at The BBC Vol. 2, less covers and more Beatles songs, it’s a rocker. Paul’s Working Classical was a pleasant surprise, I even wore out the cd. I’m curious if you have any Beatle related TH-cam channels that you visit, there are a ton of them, I would recommend the channel Parlogram, it has real good insights on Beatle records and a lot of Paul videos to pursue. On a lighter side, you are going to have to post more videos or else I’m going to run out of videos to comment on, haha! plus if you post on a regular schedule it increases your subscriber base or so they say. Keep up the good work. That 2 minute 50 mark was meant for the Love CD, haha!
@@DavesTVZoneThanks so much for the amazing comment! If I can free up storage on my phone, I’d love to make a new video! :-)
It took a few years (quite a few years) before Ram got the love that it deserves, I feel that a listener can close their eyes while listening to it and hear the Beatleness (not a real word) of it. Dear Friend from Wile Life is very underrated, very potent lyrics and lastly I wished the Beatle’s as a group would have recorded "Maybe I’m Amaze"
@@DavesTVZoneI agree! Ram does have a Beatlesque (also not a word, haha) sound to it. It’s definitely one of my favorites, as is Dear Friend. Thanks so much for watching, my friend! :-)
I have already been on this board, but in addition to sharing your passion for both Beatles and Holmes, I love the eerie way you shot this: leaning in to give somewhat of a fish-eye lens effect with the accompanying violin music ( for obvious reasons)..very good job...As Ringo says: Peace and Love, Terry Tutor
@@TerryTutor-cv3hhThank you so much! I appreciate you noticing the details like that! :-) All the best to you, and thanks for watching! 👍
I agree with you on the Maysles Brother’s film, it is an excellent film,I had the vhs tape, but we all know what happens to tape eventually, lol

@@katiegl good ol tech lol again dont worry bout it ynow best thing is to Pray about and see what happens.
I read all the Sherlock Holmes stories when I was a teenager, and I loved them. I have a Barnes and Noble leatherbound copy of the complete stories, as well as the illustrated edition that you showed at the end of the video (which are Conan Doyle's personal top twelve Holmes stories). If I have any nitpicks about the latter book, it's that it claims to put those twelve stories in the most chronological order possible to sort them in, but I think it makes rather major chronological mistakes with at least two of them. The Second Stain should be placed prior to The Final Problem, because Watson writes in an earlier story that The Second Stain occurred prior to that point, but that a full decade has to pass before he can publish it because it's confidential (incidentally, a full decade did pass before the story eventually got published even in real life). And The Five Orange Pips chronologically takes place after A Scandal in Bohemia because Holmes mentions Irene Adler as a previous case in The Five Orange Pips. The problem comes in that Five Orange Pips stated that it takes place in "the year '87" while Scandal in Bohemia takes place in 1888, but I consider "'87" to be a typo and that it should say "'88" indtead because it clearly can't take place before Scandal.
@@curtthegamer934Wow, thank you so much for the information! I had no idea about really any of it, so I’m very happy to know now. I really appreciate it, and thanks for watching! :-)

@@stereo999Aww, thank you so much! I really appreciate that! :-)
Congratulations on having the Beatles box set, the other Beatles CDs, and the McCartney discs. For the other Beatles' solo discs, I would suggest John's Working Class Hero, Ringo's Ringo disc, George' s All Things Must Pass and Cloud Nine , and Paul's Venus And Mars Archive CDs and Band On The Run latest two disc set with the underdubbed CD. Of course their other individual albums are worth looking for also.

The cool thing about that Cruisin' compilation, it's part of a series of records covering the years 1955-1970. Each cover progressively tells a story about the same characters as they age each year, the artwork reflecting how the social world around them changes too!
