Ignore all the haters, this looks awesome. It's fine to nitpick some things but Bioware hasn't made a bad Dragonage game yet. I also hope Varric doesn't die. The girl saying the artifact looks exciting is Dagna right? It looks like an Asian DEI Dagna lol. Remember Valta got magic from a Titan in Inquisition. Perhaps Harding is tapping into a titan? Who knows?

I hesitate to even watch people review this trailer unless they’re Dragon Age content creators. I appreciate the disclaimer you gave at the start. Real fans aren’t afraid to be critical, but it’s obvious when people are just culture war tourists and abusing the valid conversations to push an agenda of hatred.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired of hardcore gamers tryking to gate keep against regular players. Not everything has to be a death match and not everyone has to conform to your standards. This game is for everyone. It's about player choice. Thanks for your positivity. I'm excited. Almost everything I wanted in this game.

I never listen to anyone who hates on a game that they haven’t even played.

Like other people said this game was designed to be enjoyable without the context from the first but you don't know as much from portal 1 as you thought you did so there is definitely stuff that's going over your head. I didn't mind never seeing you play 1, but it means in 2 you aren't reacting to some fun details cause you didn't know the reference. But, it's no big deal. Nothing major just some little extra details. Still enjoying the playthrough!

I was worried when I saw the companion trailer, but I've learned to trust Bioware with Dragon Age, even if I personally disagree with what styles/actions they take. In the end, I've loved all of the DA games (even though Origins is still my favorite). The story and companions are what make this series phenomenal. The lore is also incredible and so unique to other fantasy series. I love how all of it has evolved until now. While I hope we finally get a grand finale of this series with this game, I hope they can continue incredible stories in the future.

I am so happy to see other positive reactions to this game. I have already pre-ordered this game and am so excited for the game. I love Lucanis with his purple wings. I think the game looks absolutely amazing. Sooo excited to play this. I may need to replay inquisition in preperation for The Veilguard.

Regarding Dwarfs and magic, I recommend checking out The Descent again. There we do learn something about dwarfs and magic. I think, that thx to Valta & also Sandal Dwarfs are regaining the connection to the Titans again and start to retrieve their magic. At least to some degree.

I will say this. People will find reasons to hate it and the people excited for it. People wanted to have a direct sequel to origins, but Bioware has made it clear that they won't be doing that. Personally I'm hyped about this game and I don't think people should be looking for the bad parts because then they're blind to what's good about it. I'm happy to see someone else as excited as I am

Another thought: To the best of my knowledge, you’re Dutch (really great accent BTW, it took me a while to notice you weren’t American). Of all the places I’ve visited in Europe, the Dutch always have the most American sounding English accents, at least to my ears - not sure why. I’m surprised at how few English words you get tripped up on. The only other language I speak is German, and it isn’t a tenth as good as your English. I watch a bunch of different reaction videos and it’s strange that some countries are more represented in certain kinds of reaction subjects than others. Music reactions - Australia. Movie reactions - Canada. Game reactions - Netherlands. I’m not sure why that is, but I think it’s interesting. Beyond just loving the Netherlands because of the people and art museums, it’s where Guerrilla is located - Horizon Zero Dawn is one of my favorite games.

Another thought I had. On the main menu, you can watch some videos that came out before the game. They would give some good backstory about things like the ‘long-fall boots’ and the turrets. They were part of the marketing of the game and won’t have any spoilers. Specifically the following videos: Single player promotional video, longfall boots, panels, and turrets. They’re only about two minutes long and would be worth your while to watch now before the end of the game. And again, they’re 100% spoiler free.
