Ball No. 12:- In my opinion if u play that ball over long on rather than slog sweep i think it would be much better. You missed three shots on the same line. Try practicing on a string ball, it really helps. Oh and you can also come down the wicket if the ball’s at that pace. Playing across the line of the ball will cause a lot of problems if a bowler is quicker than him.

Very late comment here. That was a great spell of bowling and a great lesson in problem solving for the batsman. Do you think as soon as a couple went past the outside edge and it was obvious the bowler shaped it away naturally to th eleft hander that you could have shifted guard toward offstump to allow you more access to the ball and also to give you an easier leave the second he went wider? I know it brings lbw into the equation even more, but it seemed knicking off was by far the more likely dismissal here.
