I love immersed, but at the current date (2024-09-30) we are having a loot of problems to connect to the app, to the remote desktop, etc... Is probably because they are right now preparing to launch they own headset... but is a problem to us that are trying to use it to work.

Imagine having an office job where they only provide you one monitor then you take a meta quest 3 headset and bam 6 screens as big as you can dream to do ANYTHING at "work"

I just found this channel Since I haven't seen any replies or responses at all for quite some time, I'm guessing the channel has been abandoned. But in case the creator is still viewing, these videos are very good, IMO. It's a shame that you've quite after just a few. Hopefully, you'll reconsider and pick the channel back up.

What for I need these 3-5 virtual monitors if I can't work with soft containing tables, text or financial graphics using my physical mouse or keyboard, I can't insert some text from keyboard because there is a huge lags when you input something from physical keyboard in application launched in one of these virtual monitors. My thoughts that it's all for fun only. What kind of "work" you will able to do there?

i have 5 monitor in the real world how can i use these in the vr

There is passthru and you can swap between displays. I play a sim called DCS and this app is the only one that will play it with quest 3.

The one display and no keyboard passthrough make this a non-starter for me. I have both of those with Horizon Desktop and with Immersed VR. Immersed Vr has it's own issues in my opinion, but it is a very powerful option.

Work in quest 2?

Doesn't work here. The mouse on my mac jumps around like hell! Can't fix that anyhow... So I put that aside weeks ago!

hi sir, i purchased quest 3 recently but unable to transfer files from pc to quest 3. i saw many videos but they are very confusing. does virtual desktop for quest 3 allows to transfer files from pc to quest 3 ? DOES VD NEEDS WIRE CONNECTED TO PC? does it need high end pc, I HAVE RYZEN 3 3200G PROCESSOR IN PC WHICH DOES NOT HAVE TYPE C PORT. can we wirelessly transfer data/files with virtual desktop from pc to quest 3? Any battery saving tips when you're working in immersed? I'm noticing that even with a battery plugged in, it's getting drained pretty quick. I know using 4 screens takes more power but i expected the battery bank to help prolong it.

Is there an easier way to do this j3ist in windows without all the rooms? I want to be able to kick back in my recliner and work on a wide screen doing cad drawings all day. I use AutoCAD and Solidworks 6-12 hours a day. I just want the vr headset to be a copy of my main monitor. No real vr, no rooms. Just a screen surrounded by blackness. It would be even hetter if i could set up 3 screen. 1 38" in the middle and a 30" on both sides of the main screen. Thats how my actual desk is setup.
