You definitely taste the best foods in Indonesia. To be honest, for goat satay/sate kambing, we only used sweet soy sauce with shallots cuts as condiment, while peanut sauce usually being the sauce of chicken satay. But once again, it's a preference. I'm glad you enjoy your food, Mr. Grif. Have a nice vacation and food journey in Indonesia ❤
Great video, all the food that i love to eat, you also should try avocado juice, you probably didn't look at avocado as dessert but here we love fresh avocado juice.
KETUPAT is rice boiled more than 2 hours and steam inside the quadruple shape of coconut leaves. Usually as a part of satay padang,, soto, gado gado and KETOPRAK.
you can request goat sate without fat, cost bit more but it's all meat, same with chicken sate some places have chicken skin between meat that you can request to have meat only.. there are different type of peanut sauce, some are thicker and richer where they combine peanut and cashew usually found in vegetable dishes (gadogado, ketoprak or pecel).. you're getting all the top of the line food there, enjoy..
MARTABAK that you chosen (chocolate with peanut and sesame seed combi with cheese with condense milk) is the best combination of flavor plus that anchor butter. Yummy
You gotta try Indonesian ice deserts. Es Cendol is a must try, it's also popular across SE Asia. Also Es Teler, Avocado Juice or Coffee, Teh Telur. Also try Rujak.
