I myself am working on a vtuber model for myself using vroid and I can't get farther that the face because how does one make hair and clothes work???? Do you do commissions on just clothes and hair at all? I've been struggling so hard with these.

The individually shaded hair textures???? Oh my goodness this is gorgeous. I didn't know even a fraction of this could be done within vroid itself. Every time I so much as touch a strand of my model's hair the entire program freezes 😅

I can FINALLY share this! This model was commissioned last year and I completed it all the way back in August!! My client has such a lovely design and I’m extremely grateful that she trusted me with her 3D model despite me having 0 experience with making anything in Blender back then (especially since her tail, antennae and choker cannot objectively be made nicely in VRoid). I actually think I’m partly insane to even take the commission when I couldn’t promise a good result, but also happy that I did because LOOK! AT! THIS!!! I can’t believe I made this!! Since quite some time has passed, there are in fact a number of things I’d have done differently to really optimise the model if I were to make it now. It’s nice that this thought helped me realise the extent of my growth within the past few months ☺ Sorry for the long yap, but I hope you liked the model as much as I do!💚

Wow, what program did you use to make your character walk in the VRoid Showcase and record it so it's transparent?

I loved your tutorial! It dawned on me after watching that the retouch brush can be used to add additional control points to a strand lacking enough for manipulation with the control point tool. I had been frustrated about redoing strands due to a shortage of control points to achieve the desired look. My little eureka moment-realizing the retouch brush could provide those extra points-wouldn't have occurred if I hadn't seen your video. :D

Just a really straightforward and simple video to show the differences! This isn’t meant to be a tutorial. The model with lilToon + Magica Cloth 2 is in Warudo format as it does not work with VRM format. I intended for the video to be unlisted and only viewable through my VGen commission page, but decided to make it public since I remember there weren’t much, if any, of such comparison videos of a VRoid model using a different shader + physics. Other than helping my clients decide whether they would want these add-ons, I thought this Could also be helpful for people like me who are interested in improving the look of models through shader + physics but had no idea how big or small the difference would be since comparison showcases like this are pretty scarce! There’s a lot you can do and fine-tune with lilToon and Magica Cloth 2, and I’m also still learning and exploring so I apologise if anything looks weird to a trained 3D artist 🙏
