So I Gave Dragon Ball Sparking Zero a Chance...
Yo! I've been really looking forward to making this video because I've been having such a blast playing this new entry (or reboot) into the Budokai Tenkaichi games. Like so many out there, I absolutely love Dragon Ball. However, like the absolute pleb I am... the Dragon Ball games I grew up playing were Raging Blast. So Sparking Zero is my first REAL Budokai game, and let me say... IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT. So that's what were yapping about today! Hopefully you enjoy the video!

Black Ops 6 Zombies Really SURPRISED Me...

Yo! Who would have guessed I'd ever be making a video on a new Call of Duty. However, Black Ops 6 has been a BLAST. Probably due to me not having to cough up 70 bucks to play on launch. Still though, what has surprised me the most is the zombies. I LOVE old COD zombies, and although I didn't have high expectations going into Black Ops 6. The zombies has been so much fun. Is it as good as the go...

The older gen games haven't disappointed either. Sad I didn't give this series a shot sooner, but better lat...

Definitely need to go try out AC3. the customization in that game is peak when it comes to part coherency
If you step into pre joystick controlls play AC2 and AC2AA
I will keep saying this forever Hollow knight is a generic metroidvania its no Masterpiece

yeah this game is nuts !! the only thing i have left is S ranking all missions ! love that they have 3 different endings
3rd gen is the best gen
I cant decide between Gundam Breakers 4 or Armored Core? I know they're two different types of mech games. GB4 looks fun for creativity but AC6 looks better in everything else
Haven't played Gundam Breakers 4, but Im picking it up since its on sale. I've gotten into Gundam pretty heavy since I dropped this vid tbh.
My generic setup in 4A is dual melee and dual triple rocket launchers on a medium-to-lightweight bipedal. The melee tears through anything, and the triple rockets are very powerful. A few salvos takes down even Arms Forts. Just gotta learn to manual aim them.
The chances of Armored Core 6.5 being announced at the Game Awards this year are low, but never zero

i'd reccomend almost all of 3rd gen but especially last raven. i got my start with project phantasma in gen 1. gen 2 is imo just more gen 1. games before armored core nexus do not use right analog stick camera controls bear in mind.
yeah Its fun and all but me and my friends cant fucking finish the main easter egg, always after round 20-something the game decides to disconnect us from the match

Great fkn review. You’re on your way up man
Thank you! I appreciate you watching.
Bro AC 6 is most definitely a souls like exoerience, the dodging, limited healing, builds and boss mechanics are all heavily influenced by previous soulsborne games
Also the storytelling method is just like dark souls if not even more vague as you need to do three playthroughs to get to the real story of canonical events and all three endings. Basically what they did was keep armored cores early 2000’s mission structure instead of semi open world and then they made movement faster than every single AC game, in fact I’d say in some respects it’s faster than Bloodborne. And the AC’s are scary powerful, you dodge literal lasers meaning the mechs can move Faster than Light without vaporizing the pilots and you can do so in four different directions
TLDR: AC6 is likely the 4th or 5th Fastest AC game depending on how much you value movement tech. Dodging(quick boosting) has been around longer then you think, and yes it borrows a bit to much from the Souls series. Sorry but it's not faster than every AC game(though it definitely borrows a lot from the Souls series.) While it's definitely faster than all of Gens 1-3, it pales in comparison to 4th Gen, and even 5th has a higher movement ceiling then AC6 does. For Answer is the fastest hands down, and that's without using movement techniques that break the game. Verdict Day also beats AC6 in speed, but requires more skill, both for it's unique movement systems, and building your AC. Going into Specifics: AC6 has a flatter speed curve than both 4th, and 5th gen, allowing you to get pretty fast much earlier, and having the lower speeds relatively not quite as far from the highest(at least compared to the faster games.) This is mostly due to 4 reasons. 1. ACFA, and ACVD had wider part selections due to being "expansion games" than AC6(you could carry over your AC4, and AC5 parts into their respective seques.) This offered more variety in slower heavy builds, and was further compounded in ACVD due to unique game mechanics allowing for more stationary play styles. 2. 4th, and 5th Gen have absolutely absurd movement systems. Both offering incredible movement tech to surpass their already high(or in the case of 4th Gen freakish) speed limits. 4th Gen has chain boosting allowing you to chain quick boost together for speeds surpassing Overed Boosting at times. 5th gen has the Wall kick mechanics allowing you to launch yourself off buildings, and some types of terrain, and that could be chained for absurd speeds in cities, and other maps with terrain that enabled it. 5th Gen also has the original Scan Mode shutting down weapons for drastically improved generator output. 3. 4th, and 5th Gen have a more extensive Booster system allowing you to adjust Your movement abilities in a variety of ways not found in other games. You have 4 different Boosters parts to customize. Main for vertical lift, and forward movement, Side for horizontal movement, Back for backwards movement, and Overed for Over Boosting(Assault Boosting), and in ACFA Assault Armor. Every Booster has different cost, and performance, with different Quick Boosting Stats being immensely important. 4th Gen even had the tuning system to target specific aspects of your AC, and improve them, such as turning speed, boost speed quick boost performance, and generator output. Lastly and extremely important both 4th, and 5th Gen had constant energy output unless the generator was completely depleted. This is different then AC6 as you usually have to wait at least half second for recharging to start whenever you use any energy. This wasn't the case in 4th, and 5th Gen unless you depleted your energy reserve completely, and even then the older Gens were much more forgiving. This Booster System, combined with the massive variety in parts gave you a much larger range of performance. A poorly kitted out AC in 4th Gen could easily drown on water maps, while a well built AC likely had insane movement speed, and infinite flight, with energy to spare. 5th Gen has pretty poor vertical lift, but infinite Overed boost was possible in ACVD(though it is incredibly build restrictive), and even without that high speed builds could be absolutely horrifying to fight against on most maps due to the wall jump mechanic. 4. AC6 has been simplified a bit for a newer audience while still having late game complexity to keep older fans content. Small note on Quick Boosting. It's actually been around since 3rd Gen as a Shoulder part in some games. We've had dodging for a long time, but we still don't have I-Frames.
@@bvc5320 But lore wise you must consider something, we dodge fucking laser side to side, these machines are Faster Than Light flashstepping shit without exploding or collapsing into a black hole. Mechanically you must also consider, perception. When the previous AC games came out it was locked into 30fps, now consoles get 60 max and pc can get way higher with right machine, at the time Ac 4 & 5 would seem faster because of the way our eyes can technically only perceive in 30 frames per second and we had yet to actually experience 60 frames per second. And in fact, technologically, it’s impossible for AC 4 & 5 to have been faster Mechanically. There is also the smoothness of movement to consider, AC6 has smoother movement and transition between movement making it seem slower than it actually is. Regardless it’s undoubtedly faster than bloodborne. I’ve encountered far more moments of being unable to dodge things purely because attacks come out so rapidly or because my machine is so light that the sensitivity takes a bit to adjust to.
@@bvc5320 also the parts mechanics for movement doesn’t affect as much as you’d think, it’s because instead of manually adjusting different directional boosting it’s been consolidated, want more speed in all directions, equip certain booster and lighter parts instead of the complexity of adjusting everything imaginable, something which for those not original AC fans and are instead Soulsborne fans or newcomers is not something which would have worked very well. And wall jumping may seem like it’s faster than just being able to literally fly but if you want to convince me, show me side by side footage of AC’s moving in a linear directions with timers and amount of pixels moved per second. Cause you have to consider, amount of pixels is vastly different between a 4k game and 720-1080p , in fact the difference between 1080p and 4k is exponentially higher amounts of pixels per frame. That means whatever space AC4 or 5 takes up in a mission is consolidated into smaller amounts of pixels making it look faster whilst the distances in 4k pixels with AC6 makes it seem slower because it’s more detailed
@nexuvareldari7418 I find this to be an extremely ill informed conclusion, and a rather poor argument. TLDR: Higher graphic fidelity does not equal larger map size, and in most AAA devs usually means reduction in map size. AC6 1 booster system is significantly weaker, while also lowering player ability to min max builds. AC6 Multiplayer Maps are Smaller than 4th Gen on average, and the extreme examples are worlds apart leaving AC6 in the dust. So I'll start with the simple in points. Yes the booster system was consolidated, but the effect this had was far from only simplifying the system. It took away player's ability to sacrifice some movement capabilities to improve others.in essence you can't optimize or minmax nearly as much. AC6 has the 1 booster slot. If you want the best boost speed you pick the best boost speed option, if you want the best assault boost you can handle you pick the best option for that your AC can handle. If you want a particular aspect of you boosting to be at its best, but can't fit the booster on the build you want to bad you're going to have to sacrifice another part in the build. 4th Gen IS DIFFERENT. Where in AC6 you have to compromise on another part of the build you can instead sacrifice performance on another booster. Here's some examples. Aggressives builds would consistently sacrifice their Back booster, and Overed booster for a better Main, and Side to better keep pace with an opponent, or a sniper will fully disregard forward boost speed in order to maximize their ability to back pedal, and dodge. If you really only needed the Overed Boost, and vertical lift you could sacrifice everything else just for that. Another way to put it is like this. Say in AC6 you wanted the best possible Quick Boost cool down, with the best possible Assault Boost. Now imagine you could get that at the cost of neutering your Vertical Lift, and Forward thrust. You can't do that in AC6, but you can definitely do that in 4th, and 5th Gen. Additionally 3 boosters each having their own quick boost cool downs that are not shared are significantly better than 1 booster with 1 cool down. You severely underestimating the difference in 4th to 6th Gen Quick boosting. In 4th Gen Quick Boosting was honestly more effective than Overed boosting in most scenarios for a number of reasons. 1st Overed Boosting stripped you of your PA, which everyone in 4th Gen had as a passive. It had its own energy meter, and it would recharge like EN. 2nd Quick Boosting was not only very strong, but it had additional mechanics that applied it's effects. First chain boosting. By chain boost together you could link a dide boost into a coward boost into another side boost, etc, etc. This gained a lot of speed fast, and if you built your AC properly you could maintain it for a good chunk of time. The 2nd Mechanics was called 2nd staging. You know how some FPS have trigger sensitivity for weapons? Like in MW2 if you pull the RT down far enough it'll fire your weapon without being pulled fully? 4th Gen did that with Quick boosting provided your not on an emulator using mouse and keyboard. If you fire the quick boost at that sweet spot where it triggers you'll get a bigger boost of acceleration, and there are other benefits to, but chain boosting with 2nd staging let you reach ludicrous speeds. Now with booster mechanics out of the way, I'm calling BS on the graphics. The higher pixel count doesn't effectively inflate size it allows developers to cram more detail into the same area. You can play AC6 in 1080p, 4k, or the lower settings, doesn't matter the game maps are the same size, but the picture quality is different. Colors pop out more, more details become more apparent, and cool effects may become more noticeable, but at the end of the day it's still the same game. The only thing graphics have enabled are better looking games, and with most studios that comes at the cost of scale. Fromsoft is one of the few rare exceptions. Let's go over distance. It's been a while since I've played online in AC6, but the majority of online Maps are all on the smaller to medium side, and it can take a bit of time to cross the larger maps. Not an incredible amount of time, but a bit. The average map on 4th Gen is bigger than the larger maps in 6th. The 2nd-4th largest in ACFA could probably fit 3-4 medium maps from 6 in it, and in an 8 man free for all you could easily host 4 1v1s and have space left over. You would still see the other players occasionally when they accidentally launched themselves into another group's spot, but you had plenty of space. Oh and that is strictly speaking horizontal space. Adding in vertical, and you could probably host 8 1v1s on the 4th largest map if the game had allowed that many players. Also note, that's the 2nd-4th largest maps. The first being the cradle map, was even bigger, and I once lost track of a friend in that one because of its size. Also didn't help it in the air, has few useful landmarks, and you can die if you fallout of the combat zone. The 2nd largest map I could cross in about 10-20 seconds,(depending on the regulation) with my fastest build. Let that sink in. Now keep in mind this was a light weight quad blader build with back mounted auxiliary booster to further enhance it's quick boost. It was built for speed. Its blade lunge makes the laser lance look not only sluggish, but short ranged, and unlike the lance this thing is energy efficient. Especially if I chained boost, and 2nd staged into a blade attack. On infinite energy regs I could reliably start an attack about a third of the map away, hit a friend, then before they recovered, I could retreat to about half a map away. On more normal Regs the speed was toned down, but doing something like that from about a quarter map distance was feasible if I could either break lock on or bait an attack(otherwise it was 50/50 as nobody was standing still.) Point being the speed was insane.
I love the souls franchise and all other from soft games. I’m debating picking this up. It’s on sale right on on steam for 35 bucks.
It’s sad you had to miss out on balteus pre nerf, it was by far one of my favourite bosses to fight after I beat the game before it was nerfed
We need a 4 answer port or remake, since its also a miyazaki game
Bro.... Morrowind is so much better 😂
lmaooo. Stoked to finally play that one too.
3rd generation is really fun. The PvP is also worth checking out. Despite the wonky netcode it’s a great way to see all the creative builds people are using.
Ace Combat also replicates this feeling of ‘badassery’ and just like Armored Core the franchise is underrated. Ace Combat 4,5 and Zero are great but PS2 era. Ace Combat 6 is the modern entry. Both great franchises are abbreviated as AC, coincidence? No, destiny. Become pilot, acquire guns, go brrr
Its... ITS YOU! THE HERO OF KVATCH!!!!
I'd recommend the gen 1 games (AC original, master of arena, and project phantasma) it's 3 games but the narrative of all 3 are connected as one experience. If you do play them though, I would advise against using the default control scheme. I would remap it so that you use the face buttons as a second d pad to control the camera.
LOVED THIS GAME
the hell took u so long? its AC and FromSoft
AC6 aside, my favorites were the original, Project Phantasma, 2 Another Age, V and Verdict Day.
I hope fromsoft takes more deviations from the souls formula in the future. As much as i love the souls games, Sekiro and AC6 were such amazing experiences. Truly showing that the studio can excel at something other than souls action RPGs. I hope their next game is something else entirely.
Non souls game from fromsoft ? Interesting 🤔

PVP is where the real game is at.
Killing Rusty made me cry.

03:48 huh... so many times did I get Alea Iacta Est, but only now do I realize how fucking hilarious it would be if that skybox just unironically ended up being Blue Archive. I mean, think about it. There's barely anything in common. It would be entirely absurd and nonsensical. Raven can't even fucking _talk_ (probably).
There are community discords for pvp. If on psn join the psn community is chill
He's gonna love For Answer so much, and hopefully appreciated ac4 too, i cnt help but feel ac4 is underrated
Ac4 has fans but I personally rank it at the bottom of AC games for me. FA is, like, the fan favorite. Not my favorite, that would go to VD and AC6
@@RippahRooJizah thats fair
I struggled with the game a bit at first, once I beat Balteus things went a lot smoother. I mostly played light bipedal, and if I struggled I would go double zim double LCS a lot. It quickly became my favorite game. It has no real weakness. Great story, graphics, performance, sound design, atmosphere and lore, characters, progression, mission structure, difficulty, combat, controls, etc. etc. etc. I'm glad I hung in there instead of rage quitting like a lot of others. No idea how this game isn't more popular. It's so good in every way.
Armored Core Nexus is a solid if not longwinded title in the series. I give it bonus points since it's one of the first few AC games to use the right stick on the controller.
I love in the first game you learn about people being augmented in a program called Human+ that have special abilities and then when you get a game over you are greeted to a video of you on an operating table with some guys talking about how you acquired a ton of debt and may or may not survive this experiment. But the more you die the more abilities you start getting so its a way to make the gane easier but its written into the lore that you start to become Human+ but the game is cryptic about it. Fromsoft has always been amazing with their story telling even wirh their early games.
Armored Core 3 and Silent Line are both great. I highly recommend you play those two next after For Answer. The default controls are jank, but the game does have button mapping in its options menu, or you can use emulator remapping if you like. There are guides online to give the older games analog controls on emulators. Last Raven is my favorite entry that isn't AC6, but I'd recommend playing most of the rest of the series before tackling that one. The controls in it are great, but it's also literally one of the hardest games From Software has ever made. It's an amazing experience though with highly varied branching paths, six endings, and an insane amount of parts. It's the definitive game for old-school Armored Core customization. For Answer is incredible, and I actually think it has my favorite world building in the series. AC6's plot is better, but the global power struggle and shadow operations going on in the fourth gen games are so intriguing. Those mission briefing videos are great.
Ending C best ending. A) You won't be remembered fondly for that. You burned Rubicon and you'll be hunted for the rest of your life. B) The fighting will never end. You fought off the Corporations. Yay. Now um....Did you forget those were just the expedition parties? Also the RLF is trash, so have fun getting nowhere. C) You freed the coral. You freed Rubicon. Thanks to ALLMIND, all ties to everyone and everything 621 had in this mess are gone. Nobody can come after you. Nobody can hold you for anything. Nobody even knows 621 is alive. You are free.
I liked AC6 more than Elden Ring's base game. Speaking as a souls diehard fan.
420 subs, I can’t
Beating this game without any guns was one of the most fun I've had with a personal challenge in a long time. Yes, even the Ice worm
