I WISH there was another game that capture the sheer chaos of Dragons Dogma combat. People are shouting, there's like 12 enemies running around trying to flank you, a fucking dragon just landed in the middle of the fight, some dude just summoned a tornado, and 13 other things are also going on. I wish we got more games that just accept the chaos and lean into it like Dragons Dogma does.
During my walk on the beach of the volcanuc isle, i spotted a drakes with 2 wargs(tiny garmr) , seem fun so i joy the fight with my parties, the magma saurians seem to thinks so too and the hobgoblin nearby, only in BBi and dogma 2 that can get yourself into situation like this.
This game does have some problems, like the performance and the story leaving me wanting for more, I played the game on PS5 and it really had shit performance, since then they have patched the game on consoles letting you turn off the god awful motion blur and also letting you turn off ray tracing which was a massive performance improvement, still not as good as it should be but the game seems to be getting above 40 most of the time Despite the flaws I'd happily say that Dragon's Dogma 2 is my game of the year
I love this game, don’t get me wrong the micro transactions ar BS but they are the least intrusive MT’s I’ve ever seen. I genuinely wouldn’t know they exist if the internet didn’t blow up about it. And I personally haven’t had any serious performance issues on console. All in all I think it’s an amazing game that sadly may be overshadowed by a few fixable performance issues, and easily avoidable micro transactions. Much like the first one I feel this game will get slept on when it’s so fun

I hadn't been so engrossed in a game for years now until DD2. Truly one of the games I wish I could replay for the first time all over again.
