Stealth Camping Under a Bridge
I've been cooped up for the past week, looking for a job, so I decided to get some fresh air and camp under one of my favourite bridges.

...and I sleep in a tent?

I wearily push through north-central France, visiting the epic Basilique de Vézelay (where I believe some Crusades were organized), and then head towards Orléans, where I come across the fierce-looking Château de Sully-sur-Loire. I reach the hallowed Burgundy vineyards of France and decide to sample a couple of glasses. Pretty good stuff. Now averaging two baguettes per day, I have an intervention with myself and decide to get some multivitamins. The Mountain is You
มุมมอง 3.4Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Time for a little mountain climbing. I start out by heading to Briancon where I load up on Tuna. From there I start my approach, journeying to the base of the mountain, Col du Lautaret. I get a rude awakening from the wind and then in the morning depart for Col du Galibier. To quote Brianna Wiest... the mountain is you. In this episode, I visit the marvelous Sisteron Citadel and then head north through the valleys of the Pre-Alps. I encounter lots of fit and fast cyclists who speed right by me, and later, I cook up a storm with some sausage and couscous. I have Col du Galibier in my sights. Fixing Up an Old $80 Bike to Travel the World

I've been looking for a world travel companion for ages now. Rather than buy something new, or even half new, I decided to make things interesting and fix up this old GT Terra from the 90s. Lovely laid back style…
I am finally catching up with your videos. This one was great!
I had this same Gt same color,I ride it for years. It was one of the most beautiful bikes from that era.
''I'd like to thank her for supporting my dream to sleep under a bridge''. That's the quality we come here for :)
Great video, hello from the uk
Only for you, Bray, would I continue to watch a guy set up “camp” under a bridge, cook dinner, sleep on a cot, and pretend to fish! 😀
You’re the best! Greatest content on TH-cam. Keep it coming! 🙌
So glad I found your channel, great video, very calming. Could I ask- what gloves are you wearing? Thanks!
Well you could come up I would love to feed you!
9:45 that can has quite the will to stay upright :D
There's a fella that calls himself "Wes Wherever", he does the stealth camping thing & he could be your brother.
Bike touring seems to be prep for living under a bridge... Not the progression I imagined.
You made me giggle!!
Beeline............Did Steve Wallis just give a seminar on content creation for the wintertime in Canada? While I'd watch a video of you doing laundry, you are better than this. You are a very special person with a unique personality that many of us connect with. You don't have to shoot stuff like this to get views. There is a ton of stuff you can shoot at home that your audience would enjoy. How about a video on how the GT MTB held up during your tour of France? What worked, what didn't etc. Tons of interest in bike touring and 1990's MTBs used as gravel/tour bikes. How about a tour of your hometown and interviews of interesting characters? If you insist on doing the stealth camping thing, remember Steve's success comes from the nervous sound in his voice as if he is about to be caught. When you pulled out the beer, I thought you were actually mocking Steve. Take care and I look forward to the next video.
Beeline come back to the states and do the transam…you had some of the best videos out there!
Ive cooked under the bridge thousands of times only I do it over the fire ...i judt get all the wood from the forest near the bridge
Colab with Camping With Steve in the future!! Fellow Canadian!
On the Road. Good choice 👍
My friend Jodi shared that recipe with me. She calls it 4 can chili🙌💥😋😋
Thanks!
Brother these last few videos have been incredible So glad to see you have a drone
Goodwill store for camping dishes 😄 Fun video, thanks again for sharing and taking my mind off of other things....signed Your neighbor to the south ✌️
I love this so much. Adventure comes in various forms.
Well its a video and you will get some views! Looks like pretty bad camping.
And now I wanna make chili
This looked so fun
What an odd video. Skipped through bits of it.
Maybe the other fishermen were waiting for you to leave so that they could stealth camp. But you took their spot first.
Does everything taste better when you eat under the bridge than by the dinner table? Lol I’m just here imagining it would be really funny if you actually caught a fish this time and theres no local news around this time
Nice to see a bit of the forest still intact. I also like the idea of brining your stove along for a warm break, excellent!
Something about the narration, the visuals, the journey, the sound and the music makes this an amazing de-stresser. Thanks a lot Beeline!
Amazing Hike.. I need to get back to PEI.. Mushy Noodles need a can of Tuna.. I prefer a can of Chicken.. I hope to BikePack Cabot Trail Soon..
You guys went to know a good one. I was in France bike touring at the same time as Beeline but in the ouest cost and north of France. The day I arrived at Mount St-Michel, I crossed a guy leaning on his camera, I saw only his moustache and said to myself, I know that moustache, looks like Beeline, but it’s impossible I’m in France on a bike path to Mount St-Michel, looked a couple of times back but with all the people and all the stuff on the bike did not look long enough. Funny thing I was in line for my plane in Paris CDG airport and saw him walking, Yes it was finally him that I saw up there, we had a little chat was fun to meet him there. Have safe travels Paul :)
Looks like a beech tree.
You know what would have made those mushy noodles perfect? A can of chicken.
@0:30 this entire montage I just want the footage of you walking back to the camera to collect it
Please incorporate one cheeky shot every episode of you walking back to get your camera!
Basswood tree with golden leaves?
Excellent video. Thank you
The drone shots!!! This was such a beauty hike. Thanks for taking us along :)
Welcome home, Bray!
Definitely need to watch the last bit on Tv again ❤
Thanks!
and thank you!
A guy was asking about cycling in france in a bike group, so I told him to watch your videos!!
What a pleasant surprise, wasn't sure if there'd be an upload today. Beautiful colors, thanks for sharing 👍
A very charmed life you have dude do you not work?🥇🚴♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧
This close to home, I would probably bring some chopped up green onions just to throw in the noodles, maybe a hard boiled egg too… an apple or a pear for dessert ( 😂 I think about what to eat all the time
Or a can of tuna … and a baguette 😅
Nobody but the French can bake an authentic baguette!@chrishuston4445
Beautiful! Thanks for the hike today!- TX
Bray, I would be interested in you doing a video on your workflow of crafting your ride videos while you’re on the ride. The nuts and bolts of recording your pass-by, drive-to and drive-away shots, how you manage your footage, keep your equipment charged, your editing process while on the road. What equipment and software you use. I use an Insta360 X3 and wireless mic so I get some of this but your being able to do all this while still riding some extreme miles each day fascinates me and others, I believe, would also find it interesting.
As a person with over 30 years of working experince with water and sewer. This place is super fascinating for folk like me. My father would love to go there. He designs water and sewer treatment plants.
