Yeah I’m right there with you. I’ll be keeping an eye out for a better blaster from this line, because the launch ones just did not impress me at all. But I’m definitely not holding my breath especially when dart zone, x shot and others have such promising offerings in this same price point. Thanks for the support!

You know, prior to the Nerf Pro spoilers, I felt the same way. N1 feels like just another line to separate customers from their money and to hell with backwards compatibility. But they they go and put out 2 new blasters in a hobby line that 90% of the community thought was a one hit wonder. I seriously have some horrible whiplash. Side note the Striker 2.0 does have me super pumped for DZ and their team. I can't wait to get that blaster in my hands! Thanks for the support

I saw TAG did an amazing mod getting this thing to shoot short darts, Talon mag compatible, and extended the barrel with a Seagull extra barrel. It was a great video. Definitely check it out!!

Yeah it's just something we are probably going to have to look past and joke around with. Some of these mods I'm seeing on these blasters does give me hope. I love the shell of the Pinpoint, now it's just finding time to get it modded up right then a sick coat of paint Destiny style

Yeah I know it's a pretty low bar going against Elite 2.0 but In my opinion if Hasbro is hellbent on replacing the ammo type in favor of this N1/Nseries then there must be a pretty expansive gains in performance over the previous ammo. We will see. Thanks for the support.

@@backyardfoam elite darts have been replaced by 10 kinds of compatible darts already, just not in hasbro's mind. You should comparison n1 to accustrike

I'll be talking about it in my full review later this week, but the one hang up with this blaster is you absolutely need to fully cycle the bolt. If you short stroke it or don't prime if forward all the way you end up not firing the blaster or worse jamming the thing and crushing a dart.

@@backyardfoam yeah I have a feeling it could also be the magazine as well it uses the same detent system as the ultra speed and I don’t k is how you feel about it but I don’t like that system

From what I've read they are going to continue the pro line but use a different dart than what was included with the stryfe x. My money is on a cut down version of the N1 dart. Thanks for the support

Yeah I would say besides the low standard deviation, this line seems to have better build quality than the Elite 2.0 line. Keep in mind I've only had my hands on this and the Pinpoint

This is a tough question. I'm always down for new blasters and alternate ammo types. The problem I see here is Hasbro trying to fix a problem with their product that already had a solution several years ago with Nerf Accustrike. It seems they are making new ammo types just to sell new blasters, and to me, that is anti consumer in its purest form. Especially if you look at the last few lines from Nerf and their life spans.(Mega XLL, Ultra & Hyper) We all were upset about the clips and welded blasters from the Elite 2.0 line. This is a whole new level, IMO My biggest concern right now is who is going to be the first blaster company to join Hasbro and jump on the new ammo type. Sorry I went a little long there

Yeah I would have been happy with keeping the same elite dart geometry and making a clear line for 6-8 year olds (Nerf Jr), 8-10 year olds have a mid teir 70 fps line, bump elite 3.0 up to 90-100 fps for 10-14 and then Nerf Pro for 14+.

@@backyardfoam exactly I’m thankful that they’re not fully going to get rid of the elite dart from what I’ve heard it will still be with the zombie series and I believe the Fortnite blasters and of course we have dart zone and xshot still keeping the same dart

Yeah unfortunately I never got around to making a full upgrade video. I was able to get the stock barrel sealed in place with electrical tape. I considered purchasing the Talon adapter to convert it to magazines because I'm not a big fan of drums (there is nothing wrong with DZ drum, just a preference) Thanks for the support!

@@backyardfoam yeah no worries. i ended up checking your spreadsheet and saw that you had modded it anyways. its too bad the fps seems inconsistant even after mods. it is a blaster i would like to get(when it goes down in price again here in canada) as it seems like it can be a fun blaster with the big drum mag. either way, hope to see more vids from ya soon, whatever dz has up next EDIT: oh also, can you 'freeze' the top row on your google doc? so that when you scroll the top row stays and you can always see it? i know i've done it before in google docs, but can't remember how its done, but would make it easier for the long doc

That's a good question, I have not tried any additional springs besides the one in this video. I may have to revisit this blaster and see what's out there as far as 3d files, springs and other possibilities. Thanks for the support

Absolutely! If you want practice on opening blasters up you should hit up a thrift shop and grab some cheap springers to practice on. My other tip would be take pictures before you remove anything and each step along the way. This way you can reference them when you put the thing back together. Thanks for the support!

Thanks for your kind words! I posted a video a couple weeks ago on how I built the targets. That was without the cameras installed. I've got a follow-up video outlined out that goes over my camera gear but I'll spoil it for you. I use a cheap action camera off Amazon (Eken is the brand name) and a custom design 3d print to mount them to the target. Thanks for the support!
