The round top staples are for fastening wire, cable, etc. They should not end up mashed flat, so that part actually worked as intended.

Saw this 310 lm for five dollars today bought one and also bought a 500 lm The 310 lm is brighter By far but the 500 lm has better battery life and an adjustable beam hope this helps some one in the future. Thanks for the video.

This Braun headlight is garbage. I bought 4 of them for my family for a camping trip. They work great for about 20 minutes and then the batteries are dead. We brought an extra 24 pack of batteries and burned through all of them on the first night. I had an old identical HF headlight that says QUANTUM on it and it works all night on the same batteries. They don't make them like they used to.

How do you switch from flood to spot?

There are 2 snaps on each sheath. They are not options for you to choose which strap you like better. If you look at the sheath down where the blade sits in it, you will see another snap rivet (male). This is where that angled strap goes.

Just what I wanted to see. DAS Bookbinding recommended this style clamp for a bookbinding press. Didn't want to drive all the way to HF to see it in person (and didn't want to spend $30 at Ace). It looks like it'll do the job. Thanks for posting this.

Why do I need this? I could use any number of sockets and wrenches that I already own.

In your garage, you would already have 1/4" and 3/8" drive ratchets and breaker bars. There would be no need to buy this tool. If you ride a motorcycle, this is the ideal tool in your saddlebag. You want this if you have to do a roadside repair.

Be very careful using those. Make sure you have eye protection. The bristles will fly off when you use it.

Pitiful video. Didn't even test it to see if it holds when tightened. I have similar cheap clamps and they will slip when tightened.

That is not a quick release. You have to take the tension off before you can extend it; that does not qualify as quick release.

Very straight forward video, i like it! I was looking to get a couple of those clamps to torture test them. Would you ever consider a six month age test on those clamps?

Bought these about a week ago from my local Harbor Freight so I could drill different sized holes in stainless steel and HDPE to make my own disc cutter because I didn't want to shell out $30 for the one they sold at the store. I'm a poor so the cheaper the better. Should work though for what I want to use it for.

i prefer the braun light, the reason is the way the head flexes. the more powerful light(larger bar) should be on the other side. that is the way i feel when i am working on cars or even in house. i have 4 braun and i would sell you my icon for $5. that is my opinion.
