@@Steve-hv1bg yeah I was shocked . I was able to film with a point n shoot zoom on all the last events and somewhere between that and worlds no video cameras are allowed . When money gets involved things get funny sadly

@@renruiz1423 there’s still time . While they work on the new front 9 they said they havnt closed the course yet . I assume when the big removal happens they will def close it then . Try to get on it before it closes .

@@BrianPorter2Bs3Cs that’s wild ! Before I ever got into disc golf I was an avid mtber. I lived in rva with all the amazing single track they had to offer . When I moved back to Hampton roads freedom park was in full swing , York river state park was being expanded . So many sessions at new quarter when they had the skills park ..who would’ve ever known in the future did spend the rest of my life across the parking lot of new quarter ! Sadly the Waller single track was destroyed by some hurricane before I got to get wheels down there . Now all my bike tires are flat and bike dusty .

@@lovinlotsabeer the original layout at Newport News was designed by someone else. The only thing these guys added was yellow baskets for longer tournament positions but the original tee boxes and the new updated orange short baskets remain in the original design and position.

@ right. Responsible for the new layout. Which is not the original layout. They moved the baskets. OG course is gone. Sad as fuck. Thus. They ruined it.

@@lovinlotsabeer When was the last time you played nnp?? As I mentioned in the last comment the new orange baskets are permanently in the ORIGINAL short position as it always has been …only thing that changed is new orange baskets in the same original position …the new yellow baskets are a 2nd pair of baskets that are in the tournament long positions . There’s two sets of baskets in play all the time now .

@ play there about 4 times a week. How about you? I love when stupid people think they are right. The orange baskets, when installed, moved on about half the holes. The changes are below. Basket on hole 3 moved 25 feet back into woods. Hole 5 moved 20 feet right. Hole 8 40 feet back. Hole 11 75 feet further back. Hole 14 75 feet left. Hole 15 75 feet back. Hole 17 75 feet further back and hole 18 50 feet further back.

@ not sure what “stupid people “ means . No nnp isnt my regular course . I was just there for fall colors last weekend . We played the yellow baskets and some of the short orange . Played orange 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 16 & the rest yellow . Seemed like the orange we played was still in the positions I remember as original .

Just an 1hr up from Richmond younger into Spotsylvania. More advanced and bigger course hub there .Loriella , Cannon Ridge , Blockhouse, Hawk Hollow , Curtis , Pratt. Championship level head to Montross Va to play Lake Marshall lions and lair . And then there is Lynchburg where dgpt 2024 worlds Will take place ..crème of the crop courses with PM designs . A lot to keep you Busy .

@@1frogass1this was a spontaneous event . I was approached by someone who was sharing two 3d printed disc . One super us and one super os. I put my phone down to throw it but unfortunately did not film. They flew just like any disc on the market . If I can get my hands on it I’ll film it as these are not my disc but a passer by

This was a buddies cart who lives in Minnesota and I live in Virginia . Not sure the long term durability . I will say coming from a ridge roller cart it def had cheaper hardware and some quality control issues .

I believe we used the suggested dimensions from PDGA site... Typical size for pads at the longer tee positions is 6 ft (2m) wide by 13 ft (4m) long.

@@SpareSpacesuit sadly I’m no longer in contact with the gentleman that made the diy cart ..not sure if he moved out of town but lost contact . Sorry wish I could be more help .

@@SpareSpacesuit I just built a cart just like this one, the axle I used was just a threaded steel rod. I matched the size of the rod to the axle that was in the wheels I was using (It was 5/16th in. steel threaded rod). Wheels I pulled off my kid's broken down strider bike, so the axle size will probably vary depending on the wheels. Once I drilled the holes in the crate, ran the rod through, put the wheels on and the bearings/spacers on properly spaced, I cut the rod with a hack saw fairly easily and attached the cap nuts. Turned out to be way easier than I thought and it handles smooth ... turned out way better than I thought it would
