This was super helpful in helping me get rid of the awful CREAK noise it makes. I was able to put in a slim piece of black electrical tape near the tip (but under the outer casing) to prevent the materials from rubbing together while writing, which would make an awful creak. Now I know how to take it apart, if the tape wears down in a few weeks/months/years, I can replace the tape. It writes silently (for now)!

How long do android eink reader usually last?

I used the cable to connect my note air 4c to my laptop. Then i trabsfered a pdf to the storage/note section on my device. But when i go to the notes app that pdf is not there but it does say its there in the storage app. How do i fix this?

With Boox Ai gestures, you can just use the same pen and scribble over the writing you want to erase. No need to click another button or use your other hand. I wish Supernote will introduce this in future...but I doubt it since they already have the 2-finger gesture. Its way better to be able to erase without using your other hand of having to turn the pen over or press a button.

It's kind of weird that I can't open the Boox storage on my PC through file explorer and drag and drop files that way. I can see the folder but when I drag and drop nothing happens.

Thank you so much for this video. I have been on the fence between Boox Note Air4C and Remarkable Paper Pro. I like how the latter is distraction-less but this flexibility in terms of note taking is something I would really appreciate when it comes to reading my PDFs.

Problem is you can read from storage, but you can’t move notes into the storage, any edits done on storage is disappeared

This video was very helpful. I'm surprised that the boox website does not have much information about this stylus or a manual that comes with it. I didn't realize the end was an eraser and the ribbed texture makes it very inviting to remove. I nearly lost the tiny spring when investigating the end of the stylus. Thanks for such a informative video.

Sadly, turning off scribble is not a functionality on my Boox Air 3C...

On the newer version, pinch to zoom setting is now under the Gestures button :)
