One Man Garage Renovation Part Two, Part TWEE...
The water doesn't seep through it?
Thanks for watching. Yes water seeps through it by Design. The old Banks went up on a slope and this wall has a liner against it backed with gravel. It gives the water a place to expand while directing it down stream so it doesn't flow over the banks onto my lawn and through my garage. I hope this helps.
I hope to get a video out soon showing some updates and the back filling and Landscaping involved
So it operates like a french drain?
@ddrigmaiden I guess that it does in a way. 90% of the time, it has just a trickle of water, but when it storms, it will fill to the top. I posted a short video showing it full.
Hilarious and helpful!
Thanks for watching and the kind words Nick! I'm glad you found it helpful and got some laughs from it.
This saw has been awesome for me. I mainly use it to break down boxes for the recycling bin. A task that used to be very mundane and tedious is now very swift and actually kinda fun.... while it cuts wood reasonably well, it absolutely chews through cardboard like a hot knife through butter.... well worth it.
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience Mike. I'm glad that it is working out well for you!
Says page not found on the link,,
Thanks for watching Mike. I'll check with him and see if something changed.
Using this on a 4,000 SF home now, works great. I do wish they lasted longer, I have had to buy 3 of them, still worth the expense.
I agree 100%. They do wear out, but they save so much time, that I believe that they're worth the money.
Thanks for watching!
You bult more wall than the orange turd did the entire 4 years he had to do it. Did you make the water pay for it? Don't worry, he didn't make Mexico pay for his wall. When your neighbors want to build a wall are you going to stop them until you can figure out how to take credit for it? If so, that's okay too because the shit bag rapist wouldn't let anyone vote for James Lankeford's (R) bill to fund a border solution, allowing millions more to come in while he campaigned. You're a traitor.
How did the blades hold up when done would they last for a whole house
Thanks for watching Big Boss. Just in my opinion, without knowing how big your house is and how bad the paint is... I'm guessing that you'll go through at least two of these. They held up great on the cedar, but there's some pressure treated that had paint which I showed in the whole house video. Pressure treated with paint seemed to make it hot, and the pine pitch with the paint seemed to build up on the wheel. Not sure why they even painted pressure treated yellow pine, but it was what it was. I hope that this helps.
This is sick!
Ha ha thanks Noah! I hope to make the throttle more responsive and make the torque converter hook up quicker with some spring mods. I'll post it when I do.
I would like to see this wall in action
Thanks for watching James. There's a couple short videos on my channel that show it completely full of water. We recently had a huge flood, but I wasn't around to film it. The problem is that the pipe exiting the ditch is only 18 inch and the pipe feeding it upstream is 24 inch. I have been trying to get my municipality to upsize that pipe for years. It doesn't flood often, but when it does, this wall keeps the water from damaging my garage.
@ yes watching the floodwater and the size of that drain pipe was a big concern, more water than pipe
Have found for welded wire fencing that bolt cutters are fastest and just plain easy (no electricity needed)
I appreciate the whitty comedy and all of the edits! Your shots are also really nice and the colors are phenomenal! Hope you get the subs you deserve!!!
Thanks for watching and the kind words Area 21. I do put a lot of work into these videos following this dream. It's music to my soul when it gets recognized.
Will SMART function works? Or show only NA?
What did 4pins do? Its easy or hard to find ssd/hybrid drive upgrade? Can you charge to sas or scsi with same hdd?
Was there quite a lot of smoke though?
Thanks for watching Lex. Yes, a fair amount of smoke, but I believe that a lot of it was because of the type of wood that I used. It was mostly twigs from my hedges and shrubs.
@themostlymikeshow Because you know when you live in a neighbourhood where no one expects a lot of smoke. They might do before long, mind you.
@therespectedlex9794 Yes, that's for sure. No one minds in my neighborhood fortunately.
This video is trash
ive got to say you're the most helpful and funny person while explaining it quick and fast, just got my 20v dewalt chainsaw and this channel will definitely help ill watch your other videos since im gonna do everything i can to make the chainsaw better and will enjoy them since i love your personality and humor 😂😂
Your comments and appreciation are music to my soul Cloudy Lost! Knowing that my videos helped really puts a smile on my face!
@9:50 > I'm dyin' over here!
Ha ha! Thanks for watching. Glad you got some laughs. Not sure what you were laughing at, but thanks!
@@themostlymikeshow It just tickled me at how much effort you were putting into it. At some point it broke loose and you gasped in frustration...but you didn't give up. I had to watch to the end to see if you would even make it, or drop from exhaustion. By the time you were done, the center pipe was bent all to #@!! as well. Suffice it to say, your video was more entertaining than it was convincing that I should buy one. With that much effort I should just stick with my tire spoons. I just have one tire to change. Nonetheless, thanks for sharing!
Lol. Thanks so much for explaining! I need to do more in this style. The ones like this that come up with a topic on last second, and I just film it off the cuff seem to do pretty well. I appreciate the explanation. I believe that it's a good tool, but yeah, if you just have one tire to change, the spoons might do it for you. The tire(s) that I changed on that machine were probably the absolute worst case scenario for this machine, and I really believe that I would have never gotten the old tires off without it.
Sad that beautiful clear Cherry is bing dumped in a hole. Too bad he couldn’t bring some to a local woodturning club.
I agree. Some billets could have been cut... Perhaps still could, but it would likely have splits in it now. It's amazing how many of those big black cherry trees are falling or getting knocked down. The emerald ash borer is the cause of many of the uprooted cherry trees. Thanks for watching!
Isn't this just going to flood your neighbor's yard now?
Um, no. If you mean the Mexico side... Er, the other side of the ditch, I own that. Thanks for watching Star Badger.
I should have indicated in the video that I do own both sides of the ditch
Hey did I get a bad one or is it supposed to leak red fluid out near where the bit goes in
Thanks for watching. I wish that I could give you some advice on that. I don't remember that happening with mine, but it was a long time ago when I got mine. I do remember the part where the bit goes in sticking on mine to the point that it didn't hammer, and I added oil to it which freed it up. Did a lot come out, or just some residual oil?
@ it was a lot and the oil site gauge is empty so my guess that they used transmission fluid and a seal must have given away… luckily even though it was past return time they had 90 days on tools so it’s going back and I’ll get another one… I have a sneaky feeling that when they have more than one price for the same tool maybe they know that one has production issues and they put it out their anyway…next time I’ll pay the extra 20 bucks. Thanks for the videos I look forward to more
@buckstopshere7305 Thanks for the kind words. I hope that you have much better luck with your new one and it serves you as well as mine has been serving me.
what if my drive was encrypted with bitlocker, will this work?
I'm going to try it! It's cold. Shingles are stiff.
Thanks for watching Jonathan. It should work fine. Good luck! Please let me know how it worked.
I need a cvt for b200r can anyone tell me which one I need please!
Thanks for watching James. I would like to think that if it's the same motor as the Ct200u-ex, which I'm not sure of... This one should work. But I don't know for positive. The guys at Go Powersports should know. Sorry that I am not more help.
@@themostlymikeshowis this one used in the ytubr vid a 196 cc 3/4 drive shaft?
@jameskaralia3110 No, mine has a 5/8" drive shaft.
Not sure if i missed ot in the video but how long did that take.
Thanks for watching PA Woodsman. I don't think that I made mention of the elapsed time. We usually take a couple hours to do it, but we're not racing or rushing. Usually just a chill ride.

So, you forced the erosion on your neighbor's side?
Yes, but I happen to own that side. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching Tim. Yeah, they sort of did pay for it through video revenue. 😅

Great video funny and enjoyed watching it.

Just found your video. Love your videography and your commentary. I bought a "Rock Farm" and need to do a Gabian wall just to get rid of all the rocks/boulders/rubble lying around the property and to delineate the driveway. You made me know I can do this on my own. P.S. Love the brake rotors in the mesh, and will be doing the same.
Thanks for watching and sharing your plans for your project Roadmaster. You are welcome to share your pictures on the Mostly Mike show Facebook page. I like seeing pictures of people's progress with projects like this. I appreciate the compliments on the video and wish you the best of luck on your project.
Bought the Oregon 16" bar kit with the .043 gauge but the chain is too short to fit on my DCCS620 I moved the tensioner all the way back but the pin won't meet the bar by about 1/8". I know others have done this without issue so I wonder if the tolerances with Dewalt and/or Oregon are different based on batch? I even disassembled the chainsaw to see how the pin adjusts but it is definetely at the far extreme. I also, since I had it apart, sealed the oil tank to stop the leaking. I saw another video that said the weld lines on the plastic container interfere with the seal. His solution was to add some permatex super black or similar so the gaskets can seal the gap. Have any of you ran into this issue?
Thanks for watching Proxybox. Hmm, I had never ran into the issue with the chain being too short. If you go to a regular saw shop, they can probably make you a chain to the custom number of teeth that you need. I bought my chain from a saw shop and not sure if they got the info from the engravings on the bar or just knew. It was an off brand, but has served me well since this video. As for the oil leak, mine leaks pretty bad, but I have not tried the fix that you described, but saw videos about it and some folks have mentioned it in these comments. Sorry that I can't be of more help.
Did you try swap printed circuit board on same HDD but SAS => SATA?
Old Brandon is one of the only presidents to address the Global Warming crisis.
Thanks for watching Andrew. Is it really happening though? And at the end of the day, who is really suffering from the policies that they're implementing? I'm not sure why I'm debating this though... This was just a game of pretend and any similarities... No matter how much of an uncanny coincidence... Are just because. Amazing though how there's folks in North Carolina suffering from these foreign waters and the foreign waters are the ones getting government funding and the Americans are the ones suffering. So where's the problem? 🤷
That is AWESOME. Love your sense of humor. Tick tick tick....lol
Thanks for watching commenting Mary! I always jot down puns, one liners, and funny things to do in my videos. Those pliers are one of my favorite tools ever, and I plan to do a video showing lots of their uses, but many of them will be funny ones such as this!
Dang, that's a lot of wall and WORK! I'd be tempted to mortor over the one side to be even more sure to keep water back.
It's kind of a long story what I actually did to keep the water back. The wall sort of absorbs a lot of the water while directing it Downstream. The Geo Fabric and the back filling are what actually keeps the water from going up on my property
If he read through the comments I tell the lengthy story a couple times. I hope to get a follow-up video up sometime soon showing just what I mean.
@@themostlymikeshow Makes sense. Hey, maybe you could hook up a motor to that hot noise and turn it into free power. <grin>

@oorahjoe I appreciate your service protecting this great nation!
Years ago, I told my father about such a wall along the Brandywine river just by the Chadds Ford Art Museum in PA. He quickly pulled out a brochure from some Italian company that he said invented them. There were pictures of them in WW1 fortifications. He was very proud of his Italian heritage. I was like it's a cool idea basically using chain link fencing to act like a bag and filling it with crushed rock. Nonetheless, it's not like they went to the moon! I guess I'm too much an American.
Thanks for watching and the interesting history fact Terrence. I live in Pennsylvania. What city is the Chadds Ford Art Museum located?
U should be coco n go down n up the ramp so she follow u.

Thanks for watching Troy. I agree... If she, it, or whatever she identifies as... Why doesn't she do anything that is in the best interests of the American people? This video is just hypothetical and coincidental in nature... But yeah.

Thanks for watching Troy I'm not sure what you're talking about. I'm just playing a game of pretend. I made this way before the current events that may have an uncanny coincidental similarity. 🤷
I use a small tire iron to hold the bead down and then push the tool to finish the mounting. Amazing you did this without the 2nd tire iron.

Ha ha glad you got some laughs Michael! That's the kinda fun we have on the Mostly Mike sHOW!
Hey mostly Mike I have a 200cc mini bike with the the 5/8 and I was wondering whta torqe converter is that?
Thanks for watching Gilbert. Sorry about the late response, but for some reason I just got the notification for this comment. The torque converter I used in this video was purchased from Go Power Sports. They do not support this channel and I have been looking for more cost-effective ways for people to get the same results. I am not cutting down their product, because it is holding up well. I know what other companies need to do, but cannot get anyone to make the parts that I need to advise people on how to do a more economical conversion. Sorry that I could not be of more help. I am still waiting to find a vendor to that can make the adapter that I need to make the more economical torque converter kits work.
Lemke Cove
Thanks for watching Alice!
Being as porous as this wall is, how does this keep the water from getting into your yard?
Thanks for watching Wade. I didn't design this wall to keep water out. I need to publish another video to show how it was back filled. There's geofabric backing the wall, then #3 limestone against that, which all allows for expansion when it floods, then a foot of topsoil on top . The wall kind of directs the water down stream until it reaches the bottleneck 18" pipe exiting the ditch to flow under the road. I have been battling my municipality to upside this pipe. I recently found out that there's over 102 acres of storm runoff draining through the 18" pipe. I hope that this makes it easier to understand what I was going for.
Devin Road
Thanks for watching Jackson!
I have no idea about construction, but just as a thought, wouldn't it be better to create a wall using concrete bags with some rebar going through? My uneducated guess is that would be better and will prevent water getting though the actual wall...
Thanks for watching and commenting. The wall wasn't designed to not let water through. I will be making a follow-up video showing what I mean. When the water level rises, this wall gives the water a place to expand and directs the water downstream instead of just flowing over the banks. Since this video was made, I back filled with mostly #3 limestone with geofabric to allow topsoil on the top 12 inches of soil to facilitate growing grass on top. I hope that this helps you to understand my goals on the project. The water only gets this high once or twice a year usually.
@@themostlymikeshow does this really prevents your yard overflowing? cause I would assume the water just goes through the wall into your yard... I would love to see the aftermath video, cause I failed physics in school and don't understand how that works without actual concrete ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
There's a one minute short showing one of the times that water reached the top and even flowed over. I don't believe that it would ever get that high, but the pipe that this ditch runs into is way undersized, causing the water to damn up.
Have her go up the ramp.
Thanks for watching Catherine!
