Great video gingeunderthesea If only they taught conservation and holistic therapies in school and everyone became ethical vegetarians as I live a plant based diet for compassionate reasons and consciously I want to lower my carbon footprint and suffering I inflict on the world as minimum as possible However I would eat and drink milk, cheese eggs etc if I were to raise the animal myself but I would never buy from the shop because animals are kept in horrible conditions and abused I cant guarantee the animal did not suffer , I just dont eat anything that has blood from a scientific and spiritual sense the blood contains the suffering elements of the being eggs are fine as female hens lay eggs naturally as females have menstrual cycles it will only turn into a chick if the hen has had sex with a rooster What daryl James elena danaan and Steven m greer, linda moulton howe david gresuch micheal salla says definitely is our reality and resonates with me and the Intel of other whistleblowers things such as forced monogamy is a social structure forced upon mankind which is unnatural You can love many people and have many soul mates the key is to make sure you alaways act and live by benevolence if someone is living their best life and not doing anything morally questionable you should not have a problem with it you should support that as love Is unconditional , universal law, principles/morals are dignity integrity honesty honour liberty,if you dont live and act by these morals you cant call yourself a good person noone can love also encompasses everything good such as happiness health prosperity knowledge etc I invoke divine energy and benevolent source and wish everyone and everything in time and space infinite strengthening physically mentally spiritually. And wish everyone and everything in time and space infinite love, peace, justice, healing this is the most powerful prayer/spell I say this incantation everyday

I wish I knew this ten years ago. I was 200 yards out on a coral stump off a beach in Bermuda and gashed my foot. A lot of blood. So I waited and wondered when the GWS would come for a snack. Then I just kept the foot, stinging, in the salt water and the bleeding let up. But I still waited 20 minutes before swimming haul-ass back to the beach.

Up until the "shark tourism" part... I agree. Those idiots are training sharks to eat out of a bait box and associate food with humans. That's a big NO. Sharks are a necessity and they are also an apex predator. If shark populations are to be increased... then they need to restrict water activities in areas...not encourage humans to interact with them in that manner. The 'profit' goes into the pockets of the profiteers...NOT the 'reef.' Furhtermore... the SINGLE biggest threats to our oceans are illegal over fishing and pollution. Guess which countries hold the top 5 spots... that's right.. CHINA by far with Indonesia second and the rest in SE Asia (vietnam, philippines) for pollution. China is KING of over Illegal over fishing by a mile.

Great video. I've been aware of these things for years. I used to only eat fish I'd caught myself. Now due to immobility I have to occasionally buy my fish. So now I'm going to have a right old Nag/Rant about stuff contributing to our Oceanic & Planetary problems. I believe the real reasons for our Oceanic woes is the over-population of our lovely planet and mans G R E E D If we half the population to a more responsible and sustainable level we should be halving our needs. This will take a few generations but the alternative being by the year 2100 the population of our planet could exceed 16 BILLION people = big problems = the joke of "Standing room only & Sod-off our Country is FULL" might not be such a joke in years to come! Educating people to not have so many children would help, but when the birth rate is greater than the death rate = increase in population, EVEN if we manage to slow it down. Then there's the use, or not of contraception. Because we find sex pleasurable as opposed to a necessity and in doing so find some methods of contraception take away such pleasure we end up with unwanted pregnancies. Then there's those who say contraception is against their religion .... the list of excuses goes on & on! We are a selfish species, caring mainly about ourselves and sod the rest of you! Then there's output of toxic wastes into our Oceans & Atomosphere from increasing Industry needs of an ever increasing population will further increase pollution into the food chain and ultimately cause illness and disease all the way up that chain into humans! We HAVE to convince our glorious leaders to get their oversized egos out of their oversized assholes and sort these problems out, instead of talking endlessly about "stuff", preening themselves on a job well done, without actually achieving anything towards sorting the fekking problems out. (Bit like me typing this but not able to do a damn thing about our problems, whereas THEY can but deep inside many couldn't care less with an attitude of, well why should I care, I won't be alive anyway)! Take plastics. Plastics are great; problem being we don't use them responsibly. We were told they are biodegradable, so no problem! What wasn't told to us was that it takes Thousands of years to bio degrade! Companies that manufacture use once throw away plastics don't really want to break them down in a recycling process ... because it will eek into their profit margins. Did you know, in U.K. we cannot put Cling-film in our recycling bins, nor many similar plastics. Why? My idea is to give certain plastic manufacturers ultimatums. Give them 6/12 to make plastics recyclable (they've already had YEARS to achieve this). If they fail fine them £2M/week. Then ⬆️ by £2M/wk until 12/12 is up then charge them £5M/wk until they comply. And not allowing them to make the people pay via a stealth method. I think they'll soon alter their ways. There are other ways to make plastics, like using for example, Potatoe starch of which is garden compostable! Do you want your children to have a fulfilling future? I don't have any as I've been responsible, but looking at the world as we know it today, I think it may well become a living hell if our generation fails in its duty towards our future offspring. This is my opinion only. I dare say many will either Agree, Disagree, or just don't give a damn! Have a Nice Day😎

Thank you so much for addressing the fact that finning isn't just an Asian problem! lots of people tend to just blame China, but I've seen shark fin sold in Thailand, footage of it served in Chinatown, _London_ - as you said it IS a global issue. We ALL need to work together, so thanks so much for a really important and informative video! I also like how it isn't as graphic as most videos I've seen as they tend to show the actual finning, as this makes it easier to show to friends and family who may be uncomfortable/unable to watch such cruelty and violence, though I'm glad you still had some images to expose the horror of it. do you mind if I send this to local schools so they can educate others on this? have a nice day :)

Unfortunately I'm too thick to download any stuff from the internet as I'm computer "Illiterate"! I haven't a scoobiedoo, apart from watching "stuff" on TH-cam! However, I'm fortunate in that I've scuba dived with many of the top predators & sharks in our oceans, including the big 3 in one dive alone - and they were BIG! We encountered quite a few near 14 footers while I wuzz there, that being Oman! I loved diving with sharks; so bold, inquisitive, daring, attentive, aggressive and just doing what sharks do. I've been fortunate to have been caught-up in a mass migration of Hammerheads going one-way only. How many? As far as my eyes could see. Which type? I have no idea, I was just enjoying the ride with the current in the middle of these fascinating sharks. How BIG? 8-10 feet, average, some smaller, some larger; I forgot my tape measure! What did the sharks do? They gave me the "once over with their eyes" as if to say " is this creature nutz"! Where was my buddy? He thought I WAS nutz but shadowed me all the time & had given me the OK to join them. When was this? About 1992/3. Where? In waters off Oman. I had to stop scuba diving due to a spinal injury, but managed to top out at 1004 logged dives by September 1993. I now just dream I've been diving, then I wake up! Strange tho', I never seem to get short on air, even on deep-dives!! Dive Oman folks. You may well find it's just as good, if not better than the Gr8-barrier-reef, Eilat, Cancun and many other fantastic sites the world over. The Omanis are very hospitable people and welcome tourists. I only worked & lived there! However, in summer it gets "Stinking Hot" so make sure you keep well hydrated if you get to go there. Safe Diving.

All we divers who've been up-close and personal, not by choice, (& NOT in a shark-cage) with a Great White Shark (GWS) of Mega proportions will tell you Adrenaline is BROWN! I've had the pleasure of scuba diving with some HUGE sharks over the years. Most will leave you alone but some like to check you out and in my case a GWS came at me & my buddy and got a swift left hook for its trouble. ( I still bear the scars on my bicep from her nails digging into me as she held on for dear life lol) It did however push both of us some distance even though it broke off its charge due to my smacking it in its chops! Probably only checking us out but the narrators point that GWSs always attack from below is 100% incorrect! (My suggestion is, come back when you're about 70 yrs old and re evaluate your statements)! This was in the Gulf of Oman in the 1990s where big sharks were seen on virtually every dive. The big 3 being the GWS, Tiger and Bull shark are the main ones to be aware of. If youleave them alone, they generally will leave you alone! As for your fishing points. Perhaps if we address the continueing increase in the Human Population, which at current rate is unsustainable then we wouldn't have such crisis with our animals on Planet Earth! The human population means we need more food = over fishing, increased farm animals and crops; the list is endless! Think about it. It's simple Mathematics & Chemistry!

Seafood stinks If stored for more than a day it becomes a health hazard Marine life is swimming and eating the thrash we humans throw in our oceans. These fish are filled with Mercury which will poison you slowly. Most fishermen don't like to eat fish, that should raise some questions. If you want fish from continental waters then carps and pikes have too many bones. So except for a few species such as salmon and trout there's not many species worth the effort. Seafood is among the most tasteless chewy overated expensive food out there. there you have it
