Dell definitely peaked towards the end of the Windows 7 era, my Vostro 3550 is such a nice machine with good port selection and built well. I have to say though people definitely over exaggerate how bad dell actually are.

Hey, great video! But I found a Github rep for a ryzen 7 5800H, but it only had sequioa. It does take an hour to wait for the file, but i can make the file open to download if anyone else needs it. I havent gotten in to hacintosh at all and it seems complicated, but this simplifies a lot for me. Also, will installing mac OS completely format my drive? im fine with reinstalling windows and starting fresh, but i'd rather not. Thank you!

Here's a fun one - there is a snap package for ubuntu that has a script that sets up a Mac QEMU VM with hardware passthrough enabled, you just have to toggle it on for the hardware you want, and go into the config settings and tell it how much RAM and CPU cores you want to allocate. Snap packages can be installed in headless systems, like on Ubuntu Server, and you can legit send like everything save for one or two gigs of RAM and a couple e-Cores or a logical SMT/HT "core" or two to the VM, and then use those remaining resources to make snapshot backups of the VM, make the host OS act as a file server on your local network, etc. And you can do this with ANY 64 bit, x86 computer, no EFI file required, as long as you have the resources.

The newest toy to assist with the EFi stuff: OPCORE Simplify. Did a test today with it, whole install went as normal and everything worked. Just did USB mapping. Going to test tonight with other devices

I've had friends who tried this so called hackintosh thing and it never worked out time and time again. Just go buy a used Mac and forgo the hassle
