The PSU of the xbox 360 is on purposely designed not to fit in all models. Only the original 203w PSU works on all models be that Xenon/zephyr, falcon/opus, jasper/kronos. But a jasper psu being 150w cannot work on a xenon hence the plastic stoppers on the port, because it will power up but turn off eventually when the power peak is reached.
I always find these consoles fascinating, as they were surprisingly beefy at the time, it's just a shame that the cooling was so bad on the earlier models.
Yeah ps3 and 360 have the ability to make good looking games it’s crazy but technology has far advanced since their time games are too fast past and big to work on them now
I’m not sure if you know but the first ever dashboard on the Xbox 360 was called the blades dashboard and that came out in 2005 then in 2009 or 2010 the dashboard changed and that was called the new Xbox experience which stands for NXE then in 2012 2013 the dashboard changed again and that was called the Metro dashboard and also the two flashing lights of the red ring of death on the 360 means that it’s overheating if The fans get Loud when you start the console then that means It’s overheating

6:25 an opus is nothing like a jasper. It’s literally just a falcon motherboard with no hdmi. Very rare to find one. You could only get one if you sent a rrod xenon to Microsoft and if you were lucky they wouldn’t have any replacement xenon’s to send out so they would send you an opus. It’s much less likely to rrod compared to a xenon, but not as good as a jasper. PLEASE CHECK THE DASHBOARD IF THATS A 7371 OR LOWER ITS A JTAG OPUS AND THATS THE RAREST CONSOLE. DO NOT UPDATE THAT COMSOKE PLESSEEEEE
Microsoft put a 12 volt fan in my og nxe that I got from a lot of four untested 360s and they all worked but had red ring and all I did was open it and clean it out
The last xbox in the video with the Red Rings needs the caps replaced. I notice the 2 in front of the fan are bulging and leaking, besides the crud in the heat sinks as well. All of the phat xbox's in this video are fixable. Or serviceable with new thermal paste and a good clean out
from what ive seen in the video you need to use the power supplies that go with the assigned motherboard or use the xenon 203w psu could also be the reason the fans are ramping up either that or xboxs fans are weird and usually if you clean out the console see if the fans are the correct way or just replace the fans entirely that usually fixes the consoles
thats actually not usually the issue - multiple factors come into play, such as where the error was reported, the history of the console, what revision it is, which chip was reporting the error, and many more. what this guy should have done was get the secondary error code by holding the sync button and pressing eject 4 times to get a 4 digit error code.
6:24 I should note that the Opus is pretty rare It’s basically the falcon but with no hdmi it’s very nifty 7:01 *also* the fact that you found it on the nxe that’s a jackpot and you should take good care of it Or sell it to me if I had money lol
there is a difference between the wattage in needed between the motherboard and the different plugs and plastic pieces are there to neither overpower or under-power the consoles. but, for a short period of time this won't cause damage but if this is a permanent solution it can cause things like overheating and it catching on fire.

I see why that spray painted console isn't working, the cooler is on the wrong way, it will notice the imbalance in the pressure and shut off because it can't make good connection with the CPU, that console probably works. edit: there is a spacing on the right of the consoles capacitors next to the CPU cooler for the copper pipe to go through, that's the correct way it should be fitted, take the cooler off, and replace the thermal paste and install it that way, and then it should probably fire up, unless it was already a dead unit, the caps look okay so they shouldn't need replacing either.

It's interesting to see that you really have absolutely no idea what you're doing. Half of the video is about the supposed rip off from Microsoft, which is only intended to protect users from using a weak power supply on an old console. And please don't call the power supply a charger. It doesn't charge anything. It supplies the console with power. The overlays don't make it any better, as the second part of the video also offers absolutely no information.
