From what I saw in this video this part of Miami looks more like somewhat luxurious resort than real town/city. This is no place where people want to settle down. Maybe few years and I would want to get out of there.

With those prices you need 10k a month for absolute basics!

Special assessment will cost each unit 300k. HOA's are 4k monthly. Banks won't finance because they're rotting from salt air. They're also uninsurable. Thousand are for sale. Owners are desperate to sell.

The City: Horrendous traffic, awful roads, shoddy construction standards, corrupt officials, angry papi-chulo police everywhere, overhyped clubstaurants with crappy food. The People: Awful drivers, pretentious lower/middle class, ostentatious upper class, low IQ, highly emotional, entirely superficial, minimal substance. The Climate: Hot as balls, humid as balls, rains 7 months out of the year, high winds for 3 months after that. You live in a swamp. Miami is one of this planet's worst cities. It's like the Manila of the Americas.

Miami is nice if you've never travelled anywhere.
