Your story resonates so hard, my father always found fault in everything I did regardless of what I did to try to make him proud. He didn't mean it maliciously I'm fairly sure he just thought he needed to push me. The result though is I've struggled all my life looking for validation, sounds like you've had a similar struggle. Since you mention your dad is still with us may I strongly recommend that you react to the Mike + the Mechanics - Living Years. A story of a father and son struggling to communicate. It is best heard whilst your dad is still with us as it may resonate strongly with you.

i absolutely LOVE everything about this song, and i wish they make more with this sound as well in the future!! (given the amount of love it got, i'm pretty sure we will :D) they're doing this thing called the Xperiment project, in which they're releasing new songs every month, and iNSTEAD! is the final song on the installment. they'll be coming back again with an album next month, that features all the songs, hopefully some added new songs as well, and a new title track if i'm not mistaken, so hopefully you check that out too! thank you for reacting to them again, it's good to see you back :))

You should try listening to the japanese metal band babymetal. They are the originators of the genre kawaii metal which combines idol music and metal. I would recommend their song headbanger as a good place to start if you're interested.

For what i know, Yoon Do Hyun is a vocalist from a korean folk rock band called YB. They are in the industry for a very long time and their next album will be focused on metal, so maybe we can get another collab, this time with their own project.

I’m 72 now but I partied hearty back in the 1970s into the 1980s. Major fun especially when this song would come on. The BEST bar singalong with everyone in the bar! On the last verse where he sings “And I’ll hang around as long as you will let me” everyone sang “let me ! Let me! Let me!” The best times were had back then❤️. Great reaction!
