That's Toru on the guitar who is doing the screams on the side. He used to be co-vocalist when the band first started out. You can hear him more in some of their early songs like "Yume Yume." The rest of the band members are Taka on vocals, Ryota on bass, and Tomoya on drums. So are you going to go see the band in LA? It's gonna be so good. And yes, you should check out "Deeper Deeper." I think my favorite one is at Ambitions Japan Tour (not to be confused with Ambitions Japan Dome Tour which is where this video is from), but probably the one at Yokohama Stadium is most easily accessible on TH-cam. That's a good performance too.

I wanted to disappear, but a friend of mine told me to listen to some music while thinking things through. I've listened to Cry Out before, but something about the way Taka (the vocalist) screamed and the lyrics behind the song resonated with me. Now I found a reason to keep going, and my life has turned around throughout the years.

First of all, I really like One OK Rock, but to be honest, I wouldn't put them even in my top twelve favorite Japanese rock/metal bands. Now, how many Japanese rock bands do you know? Because "One OK Rock is the best rock band in Japan" is a very bold statement. Also, you are very wrong, my friend, because we don't have to prove you wrong... you are the one who makes the silly statements that are difficult or impossible to prove, so you should have at least a little respect for others who have a different opinion than yours and first have the humility to research the dozens and dozens of brilliant Japanese rock/metal bands that play something other than mainstream commercial rock. 😉
