    Cool, but not really practical for a home defense situation as most say you shouldn’t keep spring tension on the firing pin spring which would be required for you to keep a fully loaded shotgun like this. I’d rather keep 7 in the tube with an empty chamber & trigger pulled so the firing pin spring is resting with no tension on it. Then keep extra rounds handy on a side saddle just in case. If you need to use it, rack the charging handle & you’re ready to go. Chances are if 7 rounds of 00 Buck or slugs isn’t enough for you, the extra 2 rounds probably wouldn’t have helped you anyways. Most standard shotguns have less rounds anyways so 7 should be more than enough to protect yourself & family.

Glock is a personal preference for me, regardless of the cost I use Glock because they are reliable. Even if the gun was 2k, I would still choose a nice optic. I just don’t think the more expensive guns offer what they price them at. Only thing you get with a more expensive gun is a better trigger and slide serrations in my opinion.

      @DrZedd169 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

Also don’t have tons of money to test stuff out so I try to go with more reliable stuff. I’m sure the staccato xc is way more enjoyable to shoot though. I only have 2 pistols right now, my 19 for carry and 17 for outside the waist band.

    Never trim a safety spring. You break it in if it’s too stiff or go with a different one. You’re giving bad advice and need to educate further before “I know what I’m doing” videos. Messing with spring length in any capacity on a firearm is always a bad idea and leads to unwanted problems.

    • @GearAndGuns

      @@Buth838 Doesn’t matter how much you break it in it’s still stiff. I’ve installed multiple of these there all the same. It’s not bad advice, it’s called problem solving. I do know what I’m doing. I’ve built multiple of these lowers using the radian safety. Some people grind down the detent but I trim the spring some. There’s no problems from this unless you trim the spring to far. It’s fine and I’ve had no issues from slightly trimming the spring.

    • @Buth838

      @ problem solving by weakening a part that wears in and already has catastrophic failures if the detent slips? Tell me again you know what you’re doing because I know you don’t. If it’s stiff then sit for a couple of hours flipping the safety for a week, that or actually use your platforms.

    • @GearAndGuns
      @GearAndGuns 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ Springs don’t weaken, actuating the safety smooths the detent point out. Never had one failure from the safety doing this. Flipping it for hours a week with a full spring just grinds down the detent, that’s why people grind them down themselves. It’s not weakening the safety. I know what I’m doing regardless if you don’t think I do. Tons of people do this.

    • @Buth838
      @Buth838 5 วันที่ผ่านมา
