Brass material is one of the positives about this watch.

I have this exact watch and the mk1 and im sorry to say that all this talk about the noise is a comolete b.s. You can't hear it from across the room like some people enjoy saying, and unless its right next to your ears you wont hear a thing. And yes my hearing is excellent.

I'm enjoying this design, it has some sentiment of the "old Europe", and old-fashioned "real thing". Mechanical watch must make noticeable tick-tock! Else, why do you wear a mechanical watch? I'm looking for some loud watch for myself. The face pattern resembles the Seiko Monster Save-The-Ocean Antarctica, it is a "frosty pattern", and I don't understand why they didn't produce a white variant. And I regularly in doubts what the day of the week is today. Tu or We? Or.... Su?

I just visited Italy again! Life over there seems better… Let me say although you are young I enjoyed your seasoned take on watches as it really resonated with me. Although I am concerned with quality and value for my money I especially liked your point that watches may be more than a collection of specs. Now that fiancé has gifted me an 8-watch case I have more watches to buy and my plan is to continue to build my collection with things that I like and and will be appreciated by me for whatever reason and not to brag or impress others. I was already considering adding a Timex but i think I am more likely to get one now after watching your video. Thank you for sharing your opinions and insights👍

I have it with a beautiful blue dial and I simply love it. Lume is fantastic, it lasts long and is really strong. As you already mentioned, you get a lot of watch for the money.

Good choice, i got the orange ray a couple years ago, i put it through hell that first year. Not a single scratch on tje crystal is amazing. The citizen promaster blue dial about a year ago is my everyday watch now, also a killer piece.

I got it today in Austria for €69,90 and i really like it. Although i was pretty disappointed because it was advertised as 43mm but without the crown it only measures 40. I don't have a problem with the bracelet considering the price but if you do i can recommend fitting it with a rubber or nylon one, both looks very neat!

Cheap throw away junk. $30 watch, $7 battery. Destroyed the damn watch attempting to get the case back on after having to change the battery after only a month. Watch worked great until then, but watch hands fell off trying to get the case back on. The battery and the tool to get the case on cost almost as much as the watch.

You are 100% right. I wish I had come across this first! Jingle bells jingle bells... No it's my watch we are in march!? Rotor noise is super loud, the loudest I have ever heard I think. I will say timex are proud and encourage their watches to be a bit ticky, didn't expect to hear beyblades in my head all day long though. The price point, again spot on. I got it new and very cheap, I would be screaming bloody murder if I paid even over £100 for it I think. It's beautiful to look at, very comfortable and easy to wear, complements most outfits and is simply elegant. But not a £250 watch IMO. Most watches now over £100 have sapphire crystal, even £30 benyar watches (not knocking benyar) but that's a cheaaaap watch and it still trumps the timex on a few aspects. And the strap, you are right about that too. It's not the nicest, and it's far from the comfiest leather strap too. Now I feel like I have reworded your video, but it feels good although at the same time bad to see someone else's view and opinion similar to my own. I, the same as you, have had people say 'na yours is just loud, it's broke or something', but no it was brand new out of the box making a ruckus. Great video by the way, you say it straight and cut right to it. Good on you, where's all the support for this guy!!
