Wow awesome Lego Alr builds!!

I think what sets your droideka apart is the same thing that made the first one stand out as "accurate". Your model focuses on actual shape and posture of the droid. Lego's models don't reflect that insectoid slouch that the actual droid has, but your model put a lot of emphasis into it which is why it looks right.

I hope you're going to do more videos. My son's love your custom versions of droids. Do you think you could do a crab droid from RotS? In any case, I hope you're well and still planning to do more on this channel.

We both came to a similar conclusion with our Dwarf Spider Droid MOCs! The OG was such a cool design, and nailed the ball shape almost perfectly! - Hopefully later down the line lego makes a dome piece with a stud on the top of it!

Fantastic custom design!!

Lego needs to hire you to design their minifig-scale druids! At the very least, as a freelancer . . . Also, I can think of one way to get the antenna in the middle, but it's definitely an illegal building method. Step 1: Find a way to get the center marked out Step 2: VERY CAREFULLY using a pin vise drill and PCB bits like you'd use for 40K modeling, drill out a tiny hole from the inside>out Step 3: Graduate to larger and larger bits, using the pilot hole from the outside>in until the hole is *just* large enough to allow the tip of the antenna bit to barely sneak through. Step 4: After that, it's just a matter of stacking a few studs inside the dome with the antenna on top, carefully slipping the dome over, and wham bam thank you ma'am, you've got the perfect Dwarf Spider Droid!

i have the droid models and every one comes with a mini fig of the model. all but not the imperial probe droid. i would like to see a better than lego build .

You did it, you made the most perfect Destroyer Droid I have seen anyone make. It is so impressive they should be part of a future battle pack. It would be cool if they made those claw pieces with a little red dual-moulded at the ends for the eyes. Either way I will be getting the parts to make a few of these for my boys. They will love having this version.

Wow, your version of the dwarf spider droid was on point! My two older boys that are obsessed with droids vs clones loved the finished build. We will be getting the parts for at least a few of these! I hope you do all the major droids we see in the films. I love the crab droids but any of the other droids would be awesome to see.

These videos are excellent, this is the most accurate design I've seen that is th closest to scale. I hope you mak more of these comparison videos with improved designs

I wonder if its possible to use the curved droid arm pieces to try and be flush against the central orb. If they can, maybe there's a way to have them go up the outside of the orb and meet at the very top of it to mount an antenna? I feel like its possible, but doing it without having it be too obtrusive could prove to be a challenge.

Do Vulture droids next. Some of LEGO's attempts at the design have been pretty decent, and some have been a bit odd

I have allways loved the design of the droideka even before I got into starwars, I might have to build your custom one just to add to my minifig display

This build looks great and I had to build it. I used part 50018b from the weapons pack of set 76142 for the arms instead of the old revolvers. This is just a preference, but it looks good. I think flat silver looks better than DBG. It makes it look more like a machine.

We need more videos about various droids. Do a video about crab droid too, please.
