I am glad the move and settling in to a new job all went well. Nothing like piling potential stressful situations on top of each other. 😀 I can totally understand why you haven't had time to knit. Your new house will be lovely. Can't wait to visit again and see the progress you make settling in.

I can't even imagine starting a new job and moving...let alone working on the day of the move. It's no wonder you don't have much knitting to show off, and you totally deserve a free pass. Glad things are settling down.

Just added you as a friend on goodreads. :D I knitted the incredible blanket! I just finished it. I'll tell you --I had to rip it out at one point, and yes, trying to pick up stitches again was a nightmare. I ended up picking up stitches even farther down so that those stitches that you knit one below on were correct. Just keep in mind, those stitches actually have two loops on them instead of one! Good luck getting things back going again. Glad to hear you are done with all that job training. And with your bed -- won't the moving company take the responsibility and pay some money to you for having broken your bed? Seems rather nasty if they won't! We haven't moved in ages (knock on wood!) so I don't know how these things work. Take care. Sorry I haven't commented before. (I started watching with your vacation videos.)

I admire your ability to move in the middle of new job orientation. Phew! Glad the move went well. Loved the daddy and son hats! Easily seen on the slopes. Love your blanket. That looks like a great fall/winter project for Colorado! ❤ Sock yarn is great for one skein shawl/scarves. 😂 I cleaned a few of my cubbies this week and found sooooo many things I had forgotten. I love your new intro, it’s cute. You did a great job on it. I love the green yarn meant for the gift, it’s gorgeous and going to make an amazing item 🙂. You’re reminding me of how beautiful brioche is, I’d love to make some Harlow hats. I have never done two color brioche and my last adventure in brioche had me using lifelines everywhere because I kept having to pull the hat out 😅. I just keep thinking of all the beautiful color combinations, knitting can be such a rabbit hole. Your Color Popportunity Sock is looking good. I don't think anyone will notice if it's not perfect. Even Stephen always says just to add or take away stitches if it's off.

Your sweater looks great on you! Craftily Dyed Yarn is not an advent I need to see, 12 days and a freestyle fade 😅 Sock yarn is my favorite, but I've been leaning towards DK weight thinking about using them for blankets. Those Stephen West socks have such an interesting construction so far, I really appreciate how much thought and energy he puts into designing things. I heard about Stitch too, poor Stephen - losing a pet is so hard. I hope that you guys have an amazing week (and I wish you luck on your upcoming moving adventure)!

It sounds like your husband enjoyed you having fun in Stephen's stop. That is so fun! He's definitely knitting-worthy. I love the yarn and items you picked. I have bought one of those yarn holders before, but will have to get it out and try to use it. I don't travel much, but I could probably use it as a yarn holder. Sounds like you had an amazing trip.
