TRX-4 2021 BRONCO BUILD: STAGE 2 - AXE 3300 BRUSHLESS, CUSTOM LIGHTS, INTERIOR, EXHAUST, RACK & TENT
Finally getting this stage 2 of the build finished after some time! I add some more scale detail (lots of CCHand), exhaust, roof rack, awning, and of course we go brushless! There lies the issue with lighting... we do some Traxxas Pro-Scale lighting discovery and switch gears a bit on the lighting plan. I think it was worth the wait and effort though, she cam out great!     Wanted to really thank you for this video. Gave me the courage to do similar build after being away from RC since the 90s when was a kid. Mine is same except I went with furitek system and the new Mofo 44 axles. I've watched this video 10x for reference, and with your help everything fit together like supposed to and didn't even need any sanding for fitment... Again, I wouldn't have taken on this ground up build if it weren't for this video, and I'm so happy that I'm torn because I will drive it while also wishing it was just a shelf queen... haha.. keep up the great job....

Really trying to share my thinking and troubleshooting to inform others in their build endeavors. -I have that same sentiment about driving vs not.       Ah, this one was probably well over 500. You can do these much more affordable depending on parts selection… and not having 3 sets of wheels and tires! Cheers!

    Appreciate your help.. these shocks from injora didnt come with mounting nuts. Do u know what size the nut i would need for these mounting screws?😊

    Hi finally getting around and building this furitek scythe v2. The drive shaft i have for the rear is too short..what one do u recommend? Thank u;)

      @@mikeinvegas1 not sure your link setup, but I often use the stock plastic shafts and cut to length/mix and match to get what I need. Otherwise, just have to commit to some metal ones. You can mix and match inners and outers of the same brand. Take some measurements of what you have that is too short and go from there.

      @@ehrenburgdmitry2813 I think you can only get the plastic version now. These all aluminum ones were a limited number release. But… you can paint the nylon one whatever colors you choose, which is a bonus. (And much more affordable than these aluminum ones.)

    At the end of the build you had suggested that the ROP may not be the best choice for a comp motor; could you suggest another option to try?

      Yeah for a direct swap to this one, the SMP from Mofo. Or the Mini Komodo as well, super smooth motors. Both lower KV than this guy. Cheers!

    I love these walk through videos. I just wish the person would show a full parts list and total cost of the build. Take a screen shot of list. The hardest part I find with building is ordering the wrong stuff. So annoying guessing and wasting money. A parts list makes a huge difference

    Great video I build the blue one you did a while ago step-by-step but it doesn’t have this much lay over when steering to any side , the axle seems to be leaning back , like pointing to this sky How can that be accomplished? Does it have longer bottom links?

      Yes, I use the threaded rod end type links to be able to adjust them for caster lean. Injora links work with the Injora spacers as well to add length. Check out the chapters, go to the suspension setup.

    I bought a TRX4 Bronco a few years back. First run it went through a puddle and it burnt up. I was so disappointed. Man I’d love to just sit down and start putting those parts on. I think that’s my favorite part about the hobby. I love when the post man comes with special deliveries. lol!!! Love the channel my dude!

    You'll get it brother. I'm have the same problem with the Axial SCX24 Lexus GX470. Beautiful truck but the wheel base sucks and it's top heavy. Hopefully some more upgrades will come out for it. Lol!

    How do you keep the front lower and upper links from hitting? I have tried every configuration, and they keep hitting and limiting my articulation when going over rocks. Ah, same with the rear.

      @28:31 shows the front end lower link setup. I used adjustable steering links for front lowers. No binding issues on front or rear.
