I thought that was a lot of spins. I got two different ones in one package… maybe I mixed up the worm gear…. Mismatched to the marked gear. I’ll pull it and check!
@stunod269 Hey man, just wanted to say thanks for spurring me on to dig back into the O.D. Figured out the mystery... th-cam.com/video/2wSeCoZgAiA/w-d-xo.html Thanks again brother! The best of us can still make mistakes... 🙃
Do my head is off to you bro because like you are meticulous you do a very killer job and showing people the little stuff like to look for and to look at
Ugh! You do such incredible work. Truly an artist of the trade. Inspirational. I just bought this same chassis. Was trying to decide on the chassis for a while. Went from considering an Akers chassis (they have terrible customer service), to a Killr Spectr Pro XL (out of stock), and now this... Which is after all consideration the best choice, IMO, and I'm glad the other two choices fell through. I have nylon X15 axles coming with brass in all the right spots, Nexx oil shocks, a Futitek Torpedo Brushless Power System, and some a nice body on the way... But now you're making me consider a similar body. Such a beautiful rig, the way that belly looks with those sliders and all, what a package! Thank you!
Oh heck yeah, you made the right choice! I love the CC chassis. Great design and function, and those WTM specific sliders don’t hurt either! I’m actually wrapping up another CC/WTM FJ. Should have that up soon. You’re going to enjoy the build no matter what body, but obviously, I’m bias…😂
@@bcochenerhey i have a question, sorry to bug you i know you're busy, is there a transmission that will have that cedar motor "centered" between those links? Thanks again, I'm so looking forward to your new build!
@@MrsRabbit8 No, the transmission is the standard part, the motor mounts are what position the motor. I only know of the one Cedar mount that Furitek sells. And it may already be positioned as good as it can be. All dependent on the pinion size/vs the can size in squeezing it next to the transmission - and still meshing. And that Cedar has a tiny pinion
Have to say the white rims and the bronze my favorite. Well as always appreciate the build video wow is she beautiful. I’ll watch for the next one until then peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍😎
Say I use the mofo brushless mount on that motor I didn't use their little one but I do have two of them and that is nice to know that it will work on that I forgot it is the 9 mm spacing and the 12 mm spacing
I done the Excel and I done it in the titanium frame rails and his links in titanium and I took them to a torch and do they colored up so beautiful ain't funny man it's just amazing looking
Outstanding Build Brian 👏 Definitely prefer the bronze set of wheels and tires, the lighter colour really compliments the darker cab. Where can I find those exact lights for my WT Jeep?
Thanks mate! Yeah I really like those as well. Sucker for bronze! The LEDs - @28:39 they’re from Evan Designs, but you could find the equivalent down under I’m sure. Warm white, 3mm and 1.8mm. 5-12volt.
Amazing looking rig , I’m having trouble finding screws for the shocks after adding spacers nothing seems to be long enough any advice? 10 mm is not enough
Thank you! Gotta use the 12s. They’re harder to come by. They come in the hardware kits usually (but only like 10 or so). Mazz sells some kits. Amazon has them too.
@@bcochener I’ve only built off the trx4ms this was my first build but I ordered the xl trying to build a cbolt which I learned is not the way to do it so I ordered the shorter chassis for the cbolt and started building a gladiator build as the same time it been such a blast building off the mazz chassis
Love your builds , would you ever sell one of these ? I use to have a 51 Willy’s pickup and I miss it so much would love to have one of these so I can try and paint it like my real truck use to be
I may sell off some coming up at some point. If you want this Willys body, you can pick one up on Etsy from WTMicro. They come unpainted, so you could do it up how you want to match your 1/1 Willys. Cheers!
@@ismaelreynaga4943 I have typically used Tamiya primer and paint. Wash the body with dish soap first. In this Willy Cab, I used Krylon Fusion all in one primer/paint. The key is wash and dry good first.
If you go to Akers engineering and get his motor mount for the mini Komodo not the micro but the mini it puts that motor in the center and it angles it down
Excuse me ... Maybe I'm stupid but where is the axial sxc24? I only see a bunch of different brand parts but no axial scx24?! Even the electronics are changed! So, you should instead say "I'm making" a mini crawler. Otherwise I like the video but for me there is no more scx24...
Scx24 is the platform. It’s all a SCX24 based… driveline, chassis, etc. so yes, I think you are confused. The transmission and driveshafts are stock Axial parts.
Team 3!! The polish edge, deep dish with bronze spokes is killer.
Ps: you might want to dbl check that OD, it’s 7.5%, not 33%.

Right on brother. Glad someone is paying attention…😂😂
I love the Willy’s Cab from WTmicro, so rad to see this! I love the brass super 8s!
Awesome build! Thanks for the in depth look!

Thanks for tuning in.. again Andy!! CHEERS BROTHER!
You have the cleanest electronic and wire placement in the industry
Haha, thanks!
Great Job! You definitely knocked this one out of the park! 👌🏻 I just received my Willy's body from WT micro and you gave me some really good ideas.
Appreciate that! Good luck with your build. Any direction you go with it, you know it's going to look good!
I love his bodies. I did roll mine a couple times and it broke. So the roof comes off pretty easily. Looks good my dude!
Thanks buddy. Did you see he is now printing bodies in resin as well as a different plastic that is less brittle. May be time to replace the body??
Killer as always. Thank you for inspiration brother!
Appreciate that!
Fantastic! Didn't you once use a cyclical switch for the lights? I'm looking for something like that.
Thank you! Yes I’ve used the one from Club5 on several builds.
@@bcochener sweet! Thanks for the info.
awesome build 😊

This build is sick. I want it with a land cruiser body 😮

The bronze rims my favorite 👍👍😎
48:58 just blew my mind! Sooo slow!
paint it rust red with black "diamond plate" fenders, rockers and cab corners ❤
Well it’s a little late for paint suggestions, but good idea!
better yet, dust a couple light coats of guide coat over the rust red for a natural patina like... was it a high trail or a k5?

I actually special order just 16s for the large stacked steering links-through knuckle connections as well. Never seen that length typically.
What led switch do u use
Club5 Racing makes a cyclical switch. That’s the one I’ve always used.
@bcochener is it the Electronic Cyclic Switch ( Dual Output ) for RC Aux Channel Lighting Control
@@WestDesertRcthat’s the one

You should see them when they have been took to a torch obviously without the plastic ends on there
