Sorry für die späte Rückmeldung. Deine Vermutung mit dem Maßstab könnte passen, den Buggy den ich zum Umbau genommen habe ist ein 1:10 gewesen. Die Reifen sind von einem Traxxas Slash 4x4 short course truck und tatsächlich ein wenig kleiner (ca 10,8cm) als die originalen(ca 11,8cm). Aber durch den federweg genau passend, ansonsten hätte ich den federweg noch begrenzen müssen.

Mmhhh, da müsstest du wohl mal deinen Regler googlen wie das kalibrieren geht. Ich hatte bei mir, da ich ihn gebraucht gekauft hatte, einen hobbywing Max8 Regler drin

Hast du vielleicht an der funke das throttle trim verstellt

Das würde erklären warum er gleich auf Vollgas geht

Oder du musst den Regler neu kalibrieren damit er weiß wann neutral, Vollgas und/oder rückwärts ist

@@chriscrashrc2982 also ich habe funke an halte esc schalter und rest-knopf gedrückt esc regler blinkt rot dauerhaft fernbedienung auf neutral-stellung eimal set-knopf vom esc gedrückt esc-lampe blinkt 1*grün danach kein licht mehr dann habe ich vollgas set-knopf gedrückt 2*blinken grün danach rückwerts set-knopf 3*blinken grün danach 2*blinken grün wegen akku 2s und der beschleunigt vollgas obwohl das so erklärt wird

Hi Ich weiß gar nicht mehr genau.... Ich glaube original ist ein 14er drin, ich glaube ich hatte ein 17er verbaut. Allerdings hatte ich auch das Stahl Hz und den Umbau auf CEN-DIFF. Es war aber damals schon sehr schwer an die Teile zu kommen, keine Ahnung ob es die überhaupt noch gibt.

Also soweit ich weiß kann die originale combo mit dem 2250kv Motor bis 4s betrieben werden. Da das akkufach ja flexibel in der Größe ist kannst du da eigentlich fast alle Akkus rein packen. Wenn du deine LEDs und sound über den Empfänger laufen lässt ist es egal wieviel volt du an dem Regler anschließt, der Empfänger gibt in der Regel eh nicht mehr als 5-7,4v ab, wenn du aber dein Licht und Sound direkt über einen Akku bzw direkt vom Regler mit Strom versorgst musst du ein spannungswandler dazwischen machen. Ähnlich wie bei dir. Das soundmodul wird über den Regler zusammen an ch2 und das Licht an ch3

Das ist das soundmodul von traxxas welches eigentlich im slash verbaut war. Ist der typische v8 Motorsound von den short course trucks. Bei diesem Modul gibt es nur diesen einen Sound daher weiß ich nicht welche Datei das ist. Ja das Auto gefiel mir auch sehr aber leider musste er gehen als ich mir den unlimited desert racer von traxxas gekauft habe. Aber behalte du dein Auto in ehren ist schon sehr selten geworden.

Thanks for stopping by I attached an aluminum tube to the roof with strong adhesive tape and attached the bracket for the action cam (at the time I didn't have a gopro) to the tube. In the video I then selected the image section so that the construction cannot be seen.

Vom Prinzip her geht das bei jedem Modell, allerdings würde ich dir für den trx4 das soundmodul von ess one oder ess dual empfehlen, weil das was ich ja in dem Video verbaut habe ja original vom slash ist und diesen typischen v8 short course truck Sound hat. Bei dem ess dual kann man aus mehreren sounds wählen was für einen crawler meiner Meinung nach besser geeignet ist. Ich hoffe ich konnte helfen. Bei weitere n fragen einfach melden.

Also ich habe momentan das soundmodul an den original vxl 6s im udr angeschlossen. In dem Video habe ich ja gezeigt das es au h mit anderen Esc geht wie zb den max8 von hobbywing. Ist vielleicht das soundmodul nicht richtig verbunden oder vielleicht defekt? Bei weiteren Fragen gerne melden, ich helfe gerne, wenn ich kann.

Sorry, I don't know exactly how to program this with the Esc, but I think the easiest way would be with the Traxxas tqi link module and the Traxxas app, if at all. I haven't really dealt with that yet. I always prefer to build than drive

@@chriscrashrc2982 you can change the mode to crawler mode.. just hold the button until time blinking red light , then its turn to crawl mode..but its not 100 percent breaking maybe my moto still original. I think need to change moto..

Hält bis jetzt immer noch. Da ich aber noch andere Modelle habe, schätze ich das ich mit dem udr ca 15-20 Akkuladungen gefahren bin. Solange es hält bleibt es drin ansonsten wird eh auf ein stärkeres geupgradet.

Since the original servo is smaller than most standard 1:10 servos, I had to remove the plastic from the servo bracket on one side of the model. So I was able to use the original screwing points on one side and also glued it in place. I hope I could help. if you have any further questions please contact

@@chriscrashrc2982 Thank you, I was quite surprise how hard is to find better replacement part. Only one which is recomended by many people is JX PDI-2506MG, which has just about 6kg power, it seems quite weak to me :-(. So do you think only solution how to get stronger servo is to pick bigger servo, use one-side screwing point and glue as secondary security? Didnt you find any other suitable replacement?

To be honest, it was like that for me ..... 1. I only paid € 75 for this model 2. I was dissatisfied with the handling 3. The plastic parts of the steering were broken after a very short time .... So I started to tinker ... And then there were only 2 options. I install parts that I have there in order to improve them and make them ready to drive again or it goes to the scrap or ebay as a spare parts donor. On the whole it worked for me and withstands the stresses, but whether someone wants to go the same way has to be decided for themselves, depending on how much the thing is worth to one

I have no huge demand for this model cause I am just beginner :-) ... so at first I will try to get that suitable 6kg micro servo recommended by others and when it will not be enough for me, I will try to go similar way as you. ;-)

@@rcfire3676 Unfortunately I can't answer that. I don't know whether you can make the wheelbase wider with this car, for example with wider wheel drivers (12mm hex adapter) or other tires with more offset, I haven't found out about it yet.

To be honest, I haven't measured how much more incline it can climb, but on reasonably firm ground or carpet it is quite steep. By how many degrees I can't say. I'm still not satisfied on loose ground, but that's probably due to the lack of grip on the tires.

Beim xmaxx könnte man ja vielleicht dann solche Dinger nehmen die im PKW Bereich für Ventilkappen angeboten werden. Dann müsste man aber wohl schon mindestens 2 pro felge nehmen damit keine unwucht entsteht. Bleibt dann nur die Frage wie man die sicher befestigt bekommt.

Yes, that's right, it also runs with 4s, but only tested onroad. That's too much power for offroad. But according to the manufacturer, the engine runs for 2s-4s
