Basic Console Modding and Trickery - Playing Unavailable Games The Cheap Way
มุมมอง 8K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
Video game collecting is an expensive hobby and many legacy titles are becoming too expensive to buy. It's time to trick these old consoles into playing games that may or may not be real. Once again please support original developers when applicable (apparently you can buy the Felix the Cat game on modern platforms now) and yes emulators are the easiest option this was just a fun experiment. The Most Impressive Portable VHS Player - RCA BLV 552
มุมมอง 1.4K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
A look into the most impressive consumer portable VHS player released by RCA back in the early 2000s, as well as other portable VHS players/VCRs that exist.
I played this so many times that the sounds from clicking stuff randomly pop into my head on almost a daily basis.
I played all of these
I had the Spooky Mansion demo on a mini CD-ROM, but I don't remember where I got it from (maybe some Scholastic Book Fair promo thing?). And Treasure Hunt on the Leap Frog was pretty cool too. I played the heck out of Ultimate I Spy for the Wii, and I still never beat it. Some of those puzzles were just way too hard.
After looking at the ps2 horrorland. GOD I'M GLAD that I got the Wii version instead. Good lord have mercy the ps2 version looks so much more clunky lol
Actually he was a ginger before they made him what he is now and in the first night of the living dummy he's also Ginger
I still have this on CD-ROM! Such memories!
Loved the book and the OG computer game as a kid. Probably read the book 1000 times… great vid
My favorite was Treasure Hunt, it gave me Goonies vibes
I loved this game so much, played the deluxe version so many times
🔥🔥dude going crazy with Chuck E. youtube.com/@avengercec?si=mznF_GhHCyY3aJ9G
Wait even Germany got a whole DVD set cool I did not know that
shout out to the Horrorland web browser game and to the hundreds of other annoying kids in the late-2000s who laid out all the books on the floor of Borders to see the full map
Randomly had this suggested to me on my front page and I'm glad! My sisters and I practically live like it's Halloween all year long, so we really enjoyed these games/books while growing up; especially the Spooky Mansion. Recently found that box set you featured in the beginning of the video at Costco and I lost it, getting all giddy like a kid again (and I'm 34). My husband instantly bought it for me and I occasionally just chill on the couch now and read them for fun which is saying something since I'm not a huge reader. Good video, btw! Subscribing to you to see what else you have in store.
"Who allowed you show up two videos in a row?" Skelly, you little sneak.
As a wise werewolf once said these games only get good when you start taking hostages
I remember "playing" in this game with my neighbor on their family PC as a kid. I put "playing" in quotes because we never got far. When the skeleton told us we couldn't leave we freaked out because we thought that meant the computer screen was going to be trapped in the game forever, and that we'd get in trouble, so we hit the massive stop button before it was too late.
such fond memories of playing through all the different nights of ISpy Spooky Mansion
I played the Nintendo one
One of my fav games growing up, LOVE ITTTTT
I'm trying to piece together the DVDs myself, could you please list all of the episodes and how you did this? I took screenshots of your DVDs and I'm hoping that I could just do the same thing, I just want to make sure everything's there and all of the episodes are accounted for.
Senor goldblum
Puzzles just never get old. 😊
as someone who played horrorland on wii it wasn't that horrible with the motion controls
riveting gameplay
I Spy used to freak me out probably because it was real images but I DID like the games ??? Edit: WAIT I THINK I HAD THIS GAME (deluxe) but also a sea themed one
The carnival music from Goosebumps Horrorland lives on endlessly in my brain.
Did anyone else get the game as a toy in a Wendy’s kids meal, I remember getting it that way
Ok talk about throwback!! I completely forgot about this. Unlock my memories
That couch looks maaaad comfy to sleep on
I remember playing this in my childhood; alongside Pajama Sam, some game where I think the character you play as was a rabbit, and a Spongebob point and click. I actually managed to find a disk in its original paper sleeve at a thrift store, and if I weren't terrified of accidentally downloading the wrong software, I would totally get a virtual machine to play it again
Man, I remember playing the original as a kid(dubbed in Dutch). The attic was so scary but I think I at least played it a few times haha. Didn't know there were more games :0
While the Retro Gem is nice, if you dont have the skills to install it then just buy an upscaler. It will be a little bit more expensive but better if you have alot of retro consoles
This was my jam back in the day! I loved the PC version! I never played the Wii version, but if kid me knew it existed, he would've bought it in a heartbeat!
I miss when you used to be able to get games from kid's meals, cereal boxes, magazines, and school book orders. I don't care if most of them were cheeks, it was and still is really freakin' cool! I had that exact Goosebumps game from Wendy's! I can practically smell the chicken nuggets that disc was pressed up against in the bag! Horrorland is my favorite game of the bunch, but I could never get the gold medal in Pharoah's Fairways, which was required to beat the game. I had the Wii version, so that definitely didn't help.
Class video
Thank you for this! Very nostalgic.
The fact the superheroine has a 40 inch ass is pretty crazy at 11:06
I always begged my mom for a new I spy book as a kid. I then gave them to my aunt and uncle when their grandkids were old enough to do it. ❤❤. I’m definitely thinking of buying them again, for the nostalgia
I literally only know goosebumps and the games because of Cartoon Network showing some episodes that scared kid me, and still haunt my dreams. Damn you R.L. stine
Mad props for letting "Monster Blood" pour on your head for that long while still holding a straight face. If it were me, I would've broke character and laughed on the spot, but you held it in like a champion.
There is a complete set of the series, I have it. Was available on Amazon a couple years ago
I had memories of a mish-mash of different Ispy games I played on computer, and I thought I was crazy. But then, I found Ispy mystery, and realized THAT WAS IT! I wanna order it from eBay at some point to replay it. I still maintain that that is the best Ispy game bc it had a bit of everything.
My cat was sitting on my lap watching my computer screen when your cat, who looks strikingly similar, appeared in the video.
i loved these
Yo, you have the Goosebumps Horrorland theme playing in the background 16 minutes in. Were you alluding to your recent video here? 👀 Good stuff. Good stuff.
I was terrified of dead rising growing up
Oh yeah. I remember spending countless hours watching dvds on interactual. Many had unique player skins.
You can buy this game along with a few other I Spy games on Big Fish. I used to love this game as a kid, and as an adult I got to relive the magic by playing it with my kids :)
i could never get through the dining room plate spinning minigame in the Wii version bc you had to keep all the plates spinning at the same time , and so i asked my parents for help…and they couldn’t do it either 💀 so i got frustrated and never escaped lol
Loved the ds horrorland game as a kid
