This really feels like my personal Sims experience - I always played the Latin station because it was chill. Also I love the atmosphere of Buy music being upbeat, domestic, and full of excitement decorating with Build music feeling more contemplative. It really set the mood for what you’re doing as you play.

Definitely one of the best game serieses ever. I remember when my sister introduced me to this game when I was 7 or earlier. My favorite part of "The Sims'' games was always making characters, as well as getting new pets and even listening to the songs in the games. Basically, I think the series popularized simulators worldwide, didn't it?

What genre of music are the Neighborhood songs, you ask ? Bossa Nova! (Brazilian style jazz) Hence the titles "Latin radio" Enjoy it. I love bossa nova. And yes, this game has one of the best soundtracks ever.

Loved this game as a kid and when I found out I could shoot fireworks into a room and create a fire burning the whole house down I was sold, when I got bored of a character I always just did that, good old times.

Sims 1 is so good. The music is honestly my favorite in the whole franchise.

This video gives great, nostalgic feelings, and the game is still playable. I still have the original big box in the shelf.

I was 10 years old when The Sims came out. I remember I couldn’t play it on my PC, but I could on a cousin’s. The first time I played, I couldn’t believe it-the power to control a person, perform life actions. I loved playing with Legos, building houses, and acting out daily routines with them, and now I could do all of that on the computer. For me, it was the game that impacted me the most when I played it for the first time.

People who played the sims: Ahh what nice music and memories People who played project zombid but not the first sims: What is this a prequal!?

I think the sims formed a lot of our musical preferences listening to the music in build mode. It was my favorite part of the game. I'm in my mid 30's now, and like many others, i played this when i was in middle school when it came out, and through high school. And for as long as i can remember, I've loved instrumental music, especially jazz. I don't know if the creators had any concept of how special this music would be to people.
