I bought the H95s and found the volume way too low. In my opinion they need another 20%. Now I’ve bought Apple max’s. Is there any volume improvement with these?

Great video! What exactly did you enjoy about the Oberon? I really enjoy jazz trios with a woman on the microphone, and the wharfedales didn't convince me in that area. Do you think the Oberon would be better? What's their sound signature?

My goodness John you were quick off the mark with this video, they were only launched today! I've pretty much been waiting for Ruark to produce some passive speakers again since 2004 when I bought my first pair of Ruark Epilogue II's. (And I've bought a number of their designs since too). It's interesting to hear your description of these: it's exactly how I feel about my 20 year old boxes of joy too. I'm really looking forward to listening to these myself. Thank you as always for your video. You clearly enjoy your job and that comes across. Keep up the good work.

Was leaning 8, but went with the 7 because I don’t want my TV to only last 3 or so years like most OLEDs. Had it for almost a week and am loving it. If I had unlimited money I’d get the 9, but 7 isn’t far behind it. Plus I had to turn off Peak Luminance in SDR and the Contrast Enhancer in HDR, so I don’t even know if I would’ve wanted the extra brightness. If you’re using the TV exclusively for movies, get the 8. If you’re going to be gaming, watching sports, or using it as a PC monitor, get the 7 or 9.

How do they sound compared to the h95

I feel the concentric-metallic spin pattern on H95 and HX look better than H100 and more B&O. Maybe they need to improve touch sensitivity or wireless connection so they changed it to glass like iPhone?

While not as new as the others in this list, the Wharfedale EVO 4.1 would be a nice addition to this comparison.

Was able to audition the Sonus Faber Lumina I, the II was unavailable at the local store. How different is the I from the II? Would it just be deeper bass?

I currently own the H95. H100 is looking really nice xD sadly i spent all my budget on Hifiman HEK Stealth so I’ll stay a little longer on the H95 for traveling lol maybe for christmas

I prefer the ELAC B62 over the B52, the ELAC DBR62s are a good option, and I prefer Revel M16 over the ELACs and any of your suggestions.

You forgot Polk R200 which can throw most of them out of park

I remember H95 Berluti in 2021 were sold for £1,100!!!! And they had stylish hard case!!!!! They should have upgraded their electronics but kept the look. This H100 looks shit compare tp them, and the price is £200 more.

The Leather case does a great job of scratching the headphoes due to metal zip I dont use it

For the price, I'm not impressed with the craftsmanship, the front baffle and grill is not better than Denton 80th, soundwise it depend how good your amp is, if you want high fidelity go with some purifi board amplifier, my experience with Denton 85th is it's a bit too bassy and rough on upper midrange, I feel the shape is a bit too fat to me? Well I like the big mid range unit and binding posts though.

As I saw, QLED (Bravia 7) has really more colour and brightness than OLED.

Very informative John. My personal choice would be a 5 speaker setup over a sound bar. But thats my choice. Even paying pots of money for say the Bang and Olufsen Theatre Im sure there are separate sytems out there, that pound for pound sound lots better.

Великолепные наушники. Главное, что в них нравится, это звук. Звук тут детальный и кристальный. Да, они уступают по посадке bowers & wilkins px7 s2e, что у меня есть в наличии. Однано так же, что ещё не хватает h95, напримере тех же bowers & wilkins px7 s2e, это звук подключения наушников к телефону по bluetooth. Однано это мелочи. Кто то выделяет особый жанр для них. Я скажу, что они вполне отлично, местами даже замечательно передают музыку. Достаточно добавить сюда студийный формат треков. И наслаждению нет предела. Кто то писал что н95 не хватает громкости. По шкале громкости они работают на манер beats studio 3 wireless. В данном случаи мне помог купленный плеер в смартфон

As much as I am drooling over the styling of these headphones, I feel it's not meeting a high standard expected of them to release these without supporting hi-res codecs at launch, or including a hard case thats comparable or better to the H95 in addition to a soft case. Excellent review, looking forward to more!

I have the H95. They were a bit of a disappointment for the price point. This seems like a better option but i wish it was the H95 price point. I feel i got ripped of with the H95s.
