Unfortunately, you need the wood to create the form for the concrete to take shape. I oiled the forms and reused them, but you still need the wood.

Just sitting on top. It's not secured, but it hasn't been an issue because it's so heavy. The weight is another reason we did 2 separate tops instead of 1 peice. We need 4 adults to move 1 of the tops 😆

Hi, we get birds that stop by several days per week. The birds stop by in the early morning several times a week

We have a ton of them in our yard. We pick them up without any issues. They never bite us, but they're great hunters and I've seen them go after lots of insects and unfortunately, even hummingbirds

They do have those, but unfortunately I wouldn't be able to carry 8 passengers. I believe they have one, but it's only a 2 seater bench that folds. I slept in it and it actually wasn't bad at all lol

Exactly, I used the inner bucket to act as the water reservoir and so that I could rest the mesh on top for the rocks to lay on. This way I didnt have to fill the entire pot with rocks

It's nice because you can hide the cord this way 😉

They've actually held up very well. You can add adhesive to the back of the slats for extra security, but we haven't had any issues. You could also nail it at a downward angle to ensure they don't back out

Hi! We live in Southern California so it's warm most of the year. You can build a wooden form and possibly place the planter on top of a furniture dolly, but it can get pretty heavy. I think it might be easier to buy a composite planter that is light. I've also seen some lightweight planters that have a concrete appearance

I would say only 2ft to 2.5 ft for the 6 watt pump, but you can definitely get stronger pumps to work!

I love concrete garden beds. They are a lot more work initially, but they'll last and won't decay like wood can. We made another version using blocks and pouring concrete into the cells. th-cam.com/video/BoyNIbbN2l4/w-d-xo.html

We get a lot of dragon flies that keep the mosquitos away, but if there's an issue, you can use "mosquito dunks" inside the 5 gal bucket

Hi! Ive used stronger pumps/watts for certain applications, but all we needed for this fountain was the basic 6 watt pump. Make sure you cut the hose so it goes straight up and there are no loops a d it should be strong enough.

Yes definitely haha. We used rebar on our structural builds like our concrete pergola, ping pong table, and bbq, but didn't feel we needed it for these short planters.

The costco planter is 22" wide at the top and 15" wide at the base and 18" tall. The pot for the bamboo fountain in our other fountain video is 15" wide and 17" tall. Basically any pot that is larger than a 5 gallon bucket (11.5" wide x 14.5" tall) will do.
