Totally agree. My iPad Pro is my main art tablet. But I LOVE my iPad mini for when I’m just walking around NYC. It’s a great portable digital sketchbook when you want to travel light. 👍 I was hoping Apple would update it with the new M4 OLED iPad pros this week… but looks like the iPad mini 7 isn’t coming out until September. That’ll be 3 yrs since the last update! 😬

I’ve been buying from ThredUP for only a few months. It’s been a learning curve. However I’ve curating the most beautiful spring/summer wardrobe full of name brands, silks, cotton and linen garments I could never afford!😊 I’ve had to sell a few pieces that weren’t the right size at a resale clothing store.

But in the meantime I want to get an iPad Mini for on the go, workflow, sketching and reading ebooks. I am curious which case you have for the Mini, it's delightful!

I’m an illustrator - I have an iPad Pro which is my main device but I also use my iPad mini 6 for drawing a lot as well. It’s a perfect companion device and would recommend it to anyone.

the state of american thrifting is such a shock to me. 25 bucks is a "decent price" for a plain shirt that feels used? you realize you're buying secondhand clothes that would be destroyed otherwise, not paying people to sew for you right? lmao i'm not being mean here at all i just think the past few years everyone in north america or the UK has been getting scammed when it comes to thrifting. just pointing out how it's crazy that online thrifting culture specifically has made prices increase so much in the US. i can find gorgeous new with tag y2k/90s pieces, and while i find way less of them than you guys, i end up paying 1-5 dollars maximum, which is what you would expect for literal *secondhand pieces* that would've gone to a landfill/the african coasts otherwise!!

Thanks! I have an 2018 iPad Pro, and love it too. Bummer about the lack of colour history on the mini. I just picked one up for urban sketching, and it sounds like it will work well for that though. Great tip about drawing on a smaller canvas so there’s a place to rest your hand!

wow i'm so glad i saw this video before considering the iPad mini. I just naturally assumed it would have colour history. It would just never cross my mind that it didn't???? I would have been so so disappointed omg. Needless to say I will not be buying this when I'm ready to purchase an iPad

My quick contribution which I have posted to several Mini reviews on YT. An endeavour to shared my long-term experiences/review with the device. It may help others make a more educated decision. The large variety of productivity & entertainment uses for the Mini demonstrates how versatile it can be for so many people. Master of Nun - But Good at a lot of stuff - Fine by me!!! I bought an iPad Mini 2 Cellular 12 years ago. I do not browse with it - I'm an adult - so I use my 14" laptop to browse and an Apple TV for viewing shit on the flat screen at home. I use my Mini exclusively when I "TRAVEL" - to do the following: (otherwise it sits in a drawer). 55% - as a GPS unit mounted to a RAM mount in my vehicles.- the best GPS "EVER"! I downloaded the "Navigon" app (a Garmin app) and spent $60 for all North American Map Data. This App has not been updated for 5 years now - but still works just fine - some newest roads are not displayed but who gives a Flying F (the iPhone fills the gap). That's after over 200K miles of road trips. FYI - lots of pilots use the Mini for realtime in-flight information 40% - as a Sidecar or screen mirroring when viewing YT & movies mounted to a magnet. 4% - as an eReader 1% - the odd miscellaneous task. This usage distribution may change when I buy the 7 - a/w the pencil - time will tell... AMAZINGLY this iPad still works very well with few glitches. Of course the battery is not up to scratch but as I use it mainly in my Van Conversion or Hot Hatch etc - there is always a USB plug nearby. Off course it is slow - but not excrutiatingly slow. I have recently two sided taped a metal ring (MagSafe magnet compatible without the charge) so when the Mini is in Sidecar mode it works on the multiple magsafe magnets I have in the van. I will likely buy the new Mini 7 when it comes out real SOON!?! The Mini is simply a great portable high performance device that sits between an iPhone & MBA is complimentary and is an essential device (for me when traveling) doing specific tasks.

just started using this app today and thinking of doing a demo similar to this and maybe comparisons to a diy notion template and whering. because i'm limited on space and carrying capacity, i have to make sure items have stacked functions and that i can add the right labels/tags for context, not just for wear but also weather and layering. it's good that we can adjust our feels like temperature in the settings, though. i probably won't be able to take advantage much of the ai generated outfit suggestions for unique needs, but i will still try it 😊
