Who am I? I am a programmer, a writer, and most of all, a gamer. I've been playing computer games since "game" meant a bunch of pixelated images on an old TV. I'm sorry to say that, despite the fact that I have an uninterruptible power supply, I lost power for a couple of seconds the other day and lost my second monitor and the sound (I can only hear sound from the computer using headphones) so today's video is only a few minutes long. Hopefully we'll be back to normal by Thursday but I didn't want to skip today's video.

I love how this one came out! Sorry I’ve been so long responding. I’ve been so swamped at work, but I’m finally catching up! I enjoyed my “bed poll”. I love the Fallout pic! I have a couple of pics with a “Vault Girl” from when we went to Monsterpalooza. I should add them to my pictures. CHOCOLATE FOR MERC AND ALLIE!!!
I love the idea of a separate apartment in the detached building. Keep the rafters and windows, though. You may need a ladder or something to clean them, though. Keep the same style of siding in a medium brown hue. Have both buildings the same color. One could be horizontal, and the other could be vertical if you want them to be different. What a nice property. I am really looking forward to the next episode. 🍫 for my little pals. 💰🪙 for Irene 😂
It's funny. I can't believe I haven't done a video on this one before.
I agree with Irene. But I wouldn’t put a bathtub in the mother in law suite. Only a shower so that as she ages she can still be safe while taking a shower, or she could have room for someone to help her with bathing. Maybe for the outside of the house a mixture of wood and stone. And both buildings should match.

You just needed a break from the garden contests. The yard looks good. I'm glad you could fit a door in the hallway for that bathroom. I love the couch in the hallway upstairs. Great placement. 🍫 for Merc and Ali. To Narnia! Congratulations

😄 The reason why your game keeps crashing is bc you still have the crash report file from way back in Steam. Remove it by deleting those files.. Look for Steam files in the default directory for storing save files on a Windows system. Typically, you’ll find them in the Program Files (x86) folder. Specifically, they are located within the Steam directory, then under userdata. Every Steam user on the system has a separate folder in this location, identified by a unique User ID. if not sure how to find it type in your search bar next to the Windows -left bottom side, steam files and it will lead you..unless you already know where to look.

I really like the floral striped wallpaper. Also the white paper around the window looks perfect. Would it be possible to move the bathroom door from that bedroom to the hallway? Then all the rooms could access it. I don't know if the stairs are in the way. Thanks for the 🍫😊 right back at ya.
You're right! I mo added a new door in the hallway and it really worked well.
So sorry to hear about the technical difficulties. I think the lights up in the master bedroom work. Maybe if you move the taller one to the other side of the couch, it will at least give the impression of casting light on the chair. 🍫 for everyone today!

Your master bedroom suite needs a sitting area with chairs and possibly a TV or bookshelf instead of the extra wardrobes. Another thought I had...would you consider a bathroom on the second floor instead of three bedrooms. You can do your videos whichever way you feel like filming them. Do one each way. I'll enjoy either one. 🍫for Merc and Ali and 🩹 for Matt lol. Glad your finger is better.
I like the sitting room idea. I also like the suggestion to put a bathroom on the second floor. It makes sense that people shouldn't have to run up and down the stairs all the time, just to go to the bathroom.
That is a very tall house. Glad you found a way to work around the height issue. I'm looking forward to the next part. 🍫 for Ali and Merc. Here's an idea: The leaf room could definitely be a closet with your wardrobes in it for that bedroom. The entire third floor could be a master suite with a luxurious bathroom, double closets, etc.

Yeah, I was really lazy on these flips. I put very little into the gardens and that makes a huge difference, just like you said.

You need to change the window above the counter and get rid of the windowsill. You should be able to add it back in after you finish the counter. I’m so glad you did t lose your game. I am terrified every time I play this game now. 😮 I hope they fix this game soon!

@@malzy1977 I'll try that! We're back to House Flipper 1 for this week because it's the channel's first anniversary but I'll try that change before I do my next HF2 video.
@@IreneSmith one thing g I learned from playing and building for hundreds of hours in Fallout 4 is that build order matters. Lol. I also figured out the windowsill trick when placing kitchen cabinets in HF 2. Add the windowsill after placing your cabinets down, and then you can match the windowsill to the countertops making it look seamless.

Hurray! Finally, some of the things you have been waiting for are back in the game. 🍨 delivery, how nice. 🍫 for Merc and Ali. I think you should try a roof just for the experience. If it drives you crazy then go with the flat roof. I vote for Living room on the right/ not the room with the stairs.
Hmm, maybe I’ll move it over the weekend. Actually, it sort of makes sense because the room with the stairs opens directly into the kitchen.

I bought the reef cottage today for Tuesday or Thursday. I also have three different houses in HF2 to show.
It's nice to revisit the building you had your first office in. Nice "guest appearances." I really like the floor plan inset in HF 1. It's a shame they didn't keep that. Omg I remember those chairs. That couch looks like a torture device! 🍫 for Merc and Allie.
I know! I miss the floor plan. It helps a lot. It would be cool if they could bring it back and then let us turn it off separately from the rest of the UI. Maybe I'll suggest it on the website they created for proposing game ideas.

Well, like I said, this was one of the offices I had around the time I got pets. In fact, the dog I have not, named "Coco" (in the game) was my first pet.

I know I’m super late to the party. I’m sorry. I’ve been so busy with work. But, I really like how this one came out! I love the art studio. I think it would have been cute to turn the outhouse into a flowerbed. You can change the color of the wine. You just click on the color wheel and you can make it red.

I'm late to the video, but with the bathroom, you could have put the tub along the other wall parallel to the stairs. It may have saved you some trouble. Can you recolor the tub, like you do other items? In this bathroom, the tub is the only piece that isn't white. I love that you went with the traditional red for siding. 🍫 for Merc.
So funny, I was drinking coffee just as you said you could use a cup. What a difference. I really like the kitchen in HF2. I'm glad you figured out the roofing problem. There is a house near mine that is for sale right now. It is just over 500 square feet, and they want almost $300,000 for it. No joke!! Also, we lost my mother in law just over 2 years ago as well, and I miss her every day, too. Cute house! Happy Mother’s Day! #chocolateforMerc
Yeah, it's crazy. I looked up my paternal grandmother's house in the Bronx recently and it is valued at over $600k. I couldn't believe it.

🍫 for Merc. The open bathroom plan is a real design choice. For the windows in the master suite, just image that they are those fancy smart windows. The ones you can set to frost over. BTW is there a bathroom downstairs?

The grandma apartment should have its own designated bathroom, and the ground floor area needs its own. The little kitchen needs another cabinet to look like a real kitchen, or it looks accidental. It also may work better on the opposite side by the door leading outside. The TV is hanging off the table. I think the bedroom by the first garage would have been for the butler. 🍫 for Merc. I'm looking forward to the next part.
I agree. Grandma's bathroom is separate, but I couldn't find another place to add one downstairs. Oh, and once I thought of the bedroom and bathroom as a private suite, it bothered me a whole lot less. 😀

Yes, they're back, aren't they? I guess I just can't get away from those owls. I think of my grandmother, Hedwig, every time I see one.
Is it possible to place a shower outside? Many beach houses have an outdoor shower, so you can wash the sand off your body and swimwear before entering the house. It saves your washing machine too. I'm way past adult, and I only just achieved bedroom furniture that all matches 😂. I think the dollhouse is small and needs to be on a table. Hi Merc! 🍫
HF1 had an outdoor shower. I’ll see if there’s one in HF2. That’s a great idea.
